Re: Valvrave the Liberator thread Mk II
Yeah, looking back, they could've cut out a lot of padding in season 1 and upped the pacing a bit so they wouldn't have to fish for another season or movie to resolve everything.

Re: The Official Gundam Build Fighters Anime Thread Mk III
Erm... I don't see how everyone figures AGE was kid oriented. The animation style was Level-5's style. I hate that everyone thinks this series is going to do a 180 to being serious. We haven't even had characters CURSING at all. AGE even started with death and destruction. AGE was never supposed to...

Re: Valvrave the Liberator thread Mk II
Wasting time in the first season on (so far) irrelevant stuff that added little to the overall progression of the story, doing stupid twists all the time, not caring about what is reasonable or realistic...FieryBlitz wrote:This show SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKS!! How did it end up being this way!?

Re: The Official Gundam Build Fighters Anime Thread Mk III
Wait a second. It's the world tournament. Why isn't Sri's dad there. Work. Beside, it's being televised. That said, they really should show a scene of him watching at the very least. Since he's not dead, it's silly if they're avoiding him to this degree. No, what's silly is how people can't stop ta...

Re: The Official Gundam Build Fighters Anime Thread Mark II
I swear, Aila either has a super active metabolism or she's hoarding food for the winter. She probably spent more on that food spree than I did on bimonthly grocery shopping back in college, and that stuff lasted me a while. I do wish that the Duel Gundam in RX-78-1 colors could've lasted a bit long...

Re: Valvrave the Liberator thread Mk II
I just wish the most recent massacre of no name characters hadn't been written in a way that evoked Seed Destiny's EA. I wound up skipping huge chunks of the episode because of how stupid that was. Stupid in what way exactly? Everybody on the ARUS side gunning down kids without any sign of moral co...

Re: Valvrave the Liberator thread Mk II
Man, if I was Akira and Yamada, I'd be so damn bitter that Shoko and the others in the last shuttle tried to sell me out and got my comrade killed. They totally deserved getting blown up for that, especially after seeing everything ARUS was up to.

Re: The Official Gundam Build Fighters Anime Thread Mark II
Mostly, though, I think it's because Rinko is so hot that nobody can fathom why Sei's Dad would leave her behind without any communications or any motion that he'd like to come home for so long. Dude, just because we don't see it doesn't mean it doesn't happen. The couple may have lengthy chat over...

Re: The Official Gundam Build Fighters Anime Thread Mark II
2. Why does everyone keep having weird theories about Sei's dad? He didn't abandon them, he's not dead, and obviously both Sei and Rinko care about him since they always mention him in a fairly normal way, so I doubt he was anything bad. His job is to promote Gunpla overseas. Because the damn show ...

Anyone else love Bearguy III's facial expressions during the training and battles? It was a nice little touch that added so much comedic value without being overt.

Re: The Official Gundam Build Fighters Anime Thread Mark II
I wonder if they're deliberately aiming to make Nils unlikable or if it's the weeaboo samurai cliche and plot haxx that makes him somewhat intolerable. He starts out interesting, but once he shows up at the fight, you start wanting him to lose as soon as he starts pulling out his tricks. Then again,...

Re: Valvrave the Liberator thread Mk II
I was expecting more punches from Haruto, honestly. I just wish they explained what was up with X-Eins, because I thought he was going to be bodyjacked or whatever and instead he's just being moody.

Re: The Official Gundam Build Fighters Anime Thread Mark II
There is an Apsalus III. It comes the old 1/144 HG GM Sniper from 08th MS Team. I forget which scale it is. I have that kit, and Apsalus is at a really tiny scale that would only work for forced perspective dioramas. It would be useless for Gunpla Battle. Unless perhaps it was heavily customized. T...

Re: The Official Gundam Build Fighters Anime Thread Mark II
It's a shame we can't get battles this intense in a regular Gundam show unless it's to set up the midseason upgrade or for the finale. The music was fantastic too - I can't wait to get the OST.

Re: The Official Gundam Build Fighters Anime Thread Mark II
I bet the American guy we will see soon enough would use something overly-American, most likely Maxter...since we aren't suppose to see 00 MS, else a Flag (modified to be embodiment of US's airforce) would be much better choice. As I've said before, if they know anything about America, it should be...

Lots of Scandinavia love in this series it seems. I guess it's to make up for the AEU getting the short shrift in 00.

Re: Valvrave the Liberator thread Mk II
I think this episode pretty much confirmed it - the Magius are transhuman 4chan users who suck info out of others to survive. It's the only explanation for all this trolling.
