What did you first play it on? that might help. Disc 1, laptop. Actually, I've now tried it on four DVD players, adding a PS2 to the list. Same thing for all of them. If four DVD players all encounter the same problems, it almost has to be the disc. For disc 2, I first played that on the standalone...

Well, as fate may have it, my laptop and standalone DVD players both encounter the problems I've listed, but my little brothers junker TV/DVD combo can play it fine.
