Re: Stage 1: Perfect Timing [Lunar Protectorate]
"Yeah, Yeah. Point taken" Max proceed to put his hands back behind his head, still thinking it was a horrible plan, but for different reasons now. As far as he was concerned, it was an inefficient operation.

Re: ADV Films disbanded
I just wonder what is going to happen to Dunbine and other titles that are unlikely to be picked up by other companies.
Edit: On the lighter side, we don't have to worry about an MD Geist re-release.

Re: Stage 1: Perfect Timing [Lunar Protectorate]
With that said, Max quickly raised his hand and said, "Yeah, I think there is a hole or two in the plan, namely that the best results are likely going to end with us all dead. I ran a couple of simulations, and unless the entire Dominion garrison is manned entirely by gorillas, there is no way ...

Re: Should Gundam go down the digital format?
There really is no issue with digital remastering. That's little more than cleaning some flaws that are inherent to the original print. But to digitally alter the cells, that would just do more harm than good. Even though computer graphic technology is only getting better, it often takes away from t...

Re: LMF Gundam: Dominion's Rise Discussion Thread
You know, I'm really starting to dig the animosity toward my character, even if he is considerably less obnoxious than people I know in real life. And don't worry Scorn, there won't be any friendly fire on my part. From anyone else, I can't be so sure.

Re: So, is Gundam 00 reviving the franchise in the US?
If Gundam were to have a chance, about a million things would have to happen first, just to make it possible, mostly have to do with the legitimacy of animation. It's up to recognition and publicity at that point. One thing that Gundam needs for sure is for Tokyo to hold the 2016 Olympics. Japan can...

Darkvassar - Breifing room - Max walked in to the briefing room, last, and prepared. In fact, so prepared, that he systematically ignored putting on his pilot suit (he was in street clothes) and left the plans in his room. "It was a stupid plan" he thought to himself. Once in, he proceeded...

Re: LMF Gundam: Dominion's Rise Discussion Thread
Is there anything against having a non-combatant/non-military character? More specifically, on the Dominion side? I have nothing against it. I plan on introducing a a few of those later on, including the Dominion's "Supreme Emperor." Okay. I was thinking a character who is a probing, cree...

...is Kavik Ryx trying to join the game as a moon aspie? That's a pretty blunt way of saying it. But probably not that far off. The character has a mild case, which is augmented by him being a spoiled rich kid. Having experience around people with it, I guess it becomes part of one's daily norm. It...

I'm not sure about 0083, but I distinctly remember 0080 having 30 minute episodes. It was an 80's OVA after all.

Forgive, schmorgive. Endless Eight was awesome, and anybody who thinks otherwise needs to lighten up. That is all, peace out. Strike Zero, you are officially even more awesome than you already were. Endless Eight was, essentially, a waste of time. People have a legitimate right to complain about it...

I think they basically let Tomino do whatever he wants now. The general lack of meddling in Turn A Gundam is probably akin to that.

Re: Haruhi Season 2
Dude, I think you are being a little too forgiving here. Like it or not, Endless Eight is still an eight episode long nightmare. And much like the first quarter of Gundam ZZ, or of Ideon, there is no looking past the damage that has been done. What is good is good, but the same could be said about G...

Re: So, is Gundam 00 reviving the franchise in the US?
Before Gundam can ever be remotely mainstream in America, animation, and by extention anime, has to be fully legit first. People need to except that animation is not "just for kids" or has to be The Simpsons or Family Guy. I may really like The Simpsons, but it doesn't really help the cas...
