Re: RPG Idea Discussion Thread
SNT1 I'm curious how money for black market goods would function in universe depending on faction, do you say get an amount dependent on how much loot you can grab while in firebrand and a steady salary in the empire? What about mercs? Could they set a rate but if they overcharge a side might not hi...

Re: RPG Idea Discussion Thread
Quick question SNT1:
Would you allow original/ highly custom units for say: well known mercenaries and distinguished commanders?

You may be right, but they are certainly deconstructing it in quite the novel fashion.

Re: What's Your Current Anime? Mk II
I actually just started watching (Puella Magi) Madoka Magica and was quite blown away, I don't watch Magical Girl shows but it's.. different. Not quite genre subversion but not really adherence either. The best way I can try to describe it is to have you imagine a Magical Girl show if it were direct...

Gamma Lt. Te'litha "Shut your worthless mouth, Te'Litha! Here's some more support fire for you!" Nick rolled to avoid Wolf's pair of angrily fired shells with contemptuous ease, "F*** you! F*** you and the high horse you rode in on Ritter!" he continued his rant on the open chan...

Re: A Few Minovski Physics Questions
Could've sworn we had a discussion about this way earlier but cant find it. Anyways. If I recall, megaparticles do decay or at the very least defuse over time, hence why they don't act like a real laser and fizzle at range (a real laser would keep going until it came back to where it was fired thank...

"Bitch is a dog, a fox is a Vixen! Don't mistake me for one of the fawning sluts you take home!" Rin fired back as she moved to her left, but when she noted the motions of his slightly glowing pads, having watched tapes of other fights against him, she recognized that danger was imminent. ...

Re: 4GFFG: Round Four: Neo Canada Neo Japan
Rin did move, and quickly, from the moment Steadmore's "GO" was given: slinking from column to column until she found him. He was rather easy to spot in the darkness, since his feet glowed pink and his pads had a faint luminescence. Next to a shaft of light coming down from above where she...

Re: Episode 26 - Operation Maelstrom
Gamma Lt. Te'Litha Bernard's first beam went high, alerting Nick to his presence and with a quick flick of his thrusters Nick reoriented in time to catch the second shot on his right shoulder shield, the beam dissipating as it burned away a small amount of AB coating. The third shot went wide as Ni...

Re: 4GFFG: Round Four: Neo Canada Neo Japan
Rin was in a cross mood following her bought with the American. He had derailed her 'streak' (if you could call two wins in a row a streak) and shattered her shield and her pride. Since the 'Shield of Heaven' System had suffered major damage the crew had to refit her Kitsune Gundam with the Machine-...

Re: 4GFFG: Round Three: Neo America Neo Japan
"You're going to have to move," she thought to herself through the ache in her side, as the QB made to throw another pass. "move, Move, Move, MOVE!" and with a pained yell Rin threw herself forwards and to the side to avoid the first pass then rolled on the ground to the side a ...

Re: 4th Gundam Fight: Final Gambit: Discussion thread.
Red, I think you forgot that the Kitsune still had a Sutra in its left hand when it pushed you back, and if both hands made contact it would have attached. (hence why she shrieked the activation command between screams) Maybe I should have made that clearer, sorry.

Re: 4GFFG: Round Three: Neo America Neo Japan
Rin was going to hurt after this in more ways than one, but it was a necessary gamble. Right now it was either do this or be taken out. Gritting her teeth Rin intercepted his left hand slap with one of the barrier tails, using its momentum to smack away the blow from her body again as the beam glove...

I know that the RPGs slow down in December due to finals and Christmas/ Hanukkah/ Kwanzaa/ Festivus/ Dies Natalis Solis Invicti/ Etc. but man it feels more like a shutdown. And where is Wedge? He came back for the briefest of intervals, but has now disappeared again. Did he join Cardi's merry gang o...

Re: 4GFFG: Round Three: Neo America Neo Japan
Rin's slash connected but it was too shallow, she knew it immediately, and that meant she might be in some trouble. The Naginata was a perfect weapon for her because it's reach allowed her to fight her opponents on the other side of the beam barrier, but now the QB was too close and inside her effec...

Re: 4GFFG: Round Three: Neo America Neo Japan
When her sweep had finished Rin cut the Flamethrowers in the nick of time to see the beam ball missiling towards her and instinctively raised the shield to catch it. It stuck just above the middle of her barrier before she caught herself acting on instinct, cursing herself at getting a bit jumpy, si...

Re: In Defense of Destiny
People act like Destiny kicked their dog or something. I think that people act that way because they had high hopes for Destiny and it disappointed most of them. Not all of us treat it as "weapons grade suck" as you put it, but for the sake of argument we certainly are free to dissect the...

Re: In Defense of Destiny
G and 00 had clip shows? Strange, I don't remember those.... On a similar note I'm now confused, now people here are saying Neo wasn't Mu despite that SEED Destiny pretty much said or implied he was or something? :? 00's was a half episode and handled well with some exposition and expounding by Cor...
