Re: Londo Bell in the Second Neo Zeon War

The above mentioned situation would rather indicate a high level of skilled soldiers among Char's forces. Furthermore, from what the people who have read the Unicorn novels have told us so far, it seems that among the sleeves are two mayor factions: Zabi loyalists which would include the remnants o...

Re: Londo Bell in the Second Neo Zeon War

It would make sense that most of the pilots were inexperienced. Most of the pilots in ZZ Gundam were all very inexperienced from what I can recall. If Char picked up some of Haman's remnants (which I'm sure he did) then it would leave him with many green pilots. IIRC wasn't there a reference somewh...

I wonder if having different parts will affect the MS's abilities.

Re: What's Your Latest Game? Mk III

I just got Dead Space 2 a few days ago. Its a great game so far. It improves upon the first game in many ways. Its just a shame that the game isn't longer than the first game even if it does have more chapters. The new weapons are awesome, but the old ones are just as good as they were in the origi...

Re: Differences in Gundam: The Origin

There's actually a bit of exposition given by Job about the latter, but no new info comes out of it; it's just about how the Tri-Stars captured Revil (though he does mention that it's the first battle where MS really showed their combat value). So according to him the MS is an unproven machine unti...

Re: Differences in Gundam: The Origin

With the Guncannon and Guntank being produced before the OYW how did this affect the first days of the war? Was Operation British pretty much the same except with Guncannons and Guntanks floating about? Also is there a reason for the White Base traveling to Jaburo through Central and South America ...

Re: Londo Bell in the Second Neo Zeon War

The booklet also says that the Londo Bell consisted of 18 Jegans, the Re-GZ, and the Nu Gundam. That's 20 Mobile Suits right there which is very few Mobile Suits. However, they are reinforced when they stop at Londenion. IIRC, they have extra Jegans on their hulls when they leave, and they certainl...

Re: Londo Bell in the Second Neo Zeon War

All the info you are looking for comes with a small little booklet that came in the original printing of the CCA movie. According to the pamphlet this was what the Neo Zeon fleet was comprised of: 13 Musaka Class Ships 1 Rewloola Class Ship 82 Geara Doga Units 2 Jagd Dogas Sazabi The booklet also s...

Re: What books are you reading?

I've been reading lots of 40k novels recently. I've gone through the Dawn of War Omnibus, Ultramarines Omnibus, Space Wolves Omnibus 1, and I'm currently reading the first omnibus for Gaunt's Ghosts. Gaunt's Ghosts and the Space Wolves Omnibus have been the best reads so far. I would suggest them t...

Re: What's Your Avatar, Mk IV

I had Xemnas from Kingdom Hearts 2 as my avatar for way too long. I switched it to Haman since she's my favorite female Gundam character.

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk II

I took this information with a grain of salt, but I saw that the Proto Sinanju was put up on Gundam Wikia. To make things worse they put that fan-art up. Now I was curious if there was any truth to what the article on Gundam Wikia said. It mentioned the Proto Sinanju was used to help complete the N...

Re: Should I buy a PS2 just to play the Xenosaga trilogy?

A PS2 should be pretty cheap now. If you want to get the console simply to play that one game go for it. I enjoyed the entire series, but its biggest shortcoming is the bar that Episode 1 sets. Episode 2 and 3 are by no means what episode 1 is. Episode 2 really dropped the ball and Episode 3 would'...

When I saw that blue Acguy I lost it. That is too funny. I really like the designs for the other mobile suits that aren't Acguys. Its a shame it isn't translated. It looks really interesting if not funny.

Re: Comic Books (other than manga)

Ever since I watched Green Lantern: Emerald Knights I've wanted to read the Green Lantern comics. I got into them about a month later. I've read the first 20 issues or so and so far its pretty good. Its strange that now as I get older I read more comic books. I've also been keeping up with all of t...

Re: Ring of Gundam — Original Story

I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't understand any of that. If Ring of Gundam would have been developed like that Ring of Gundam would probably be a terrible entry into Gundam. It would be terribly convoluted and probably un-enjoyable. I wonder why Tomino wasn't allowed to do this as he please...

Re: What's Your Current Anime? Mk III

I've been watching the second Gaiden series of Legend of the Galactic Heroes: The Spiral Labyrinth. So far its been ok since I'm only 4 episodes in and honestly the gaiden series have felt like filler so far. Its simply not as engaging as the original show was to me. I'm also watching Panty and Sto...

I think the word you are looking for is bland. The terrain looks way to generic unless that's all the same map. I really do hope that's just one map, because the environment doesn't look very exciting at the moment.

Man I still have not seen any of the ghost in the shells. What is the best place to start. You could start with the original movie or the Stand Alone Complex Anime series. Either one is a good place to start. I started with the movie first and went in production order and I loved them both for what...

Re: Encounter In Space

I've always loved this game. I got it a few days after it was released. I couldn't put it down for a very very long time. I loved all of the different side stories that were included and how it delved into the past of all of the characters. I loved Shin Matsunaga's story. He's still one of my favor...

Ah, I see. Can we at least agree that production order would be the best way to start? :P I can agree to that and I don't see why people are saying you have no taste. Its your opinion that you don't like DYRL. I disagree with you, but its your opinion. I see no reason to single you out for not liki...
