The only day of the year people who aren't irish suddenly want to by irish. Funny ain't it?
Not really. I don't need a holiday as an excuse to drink and act badly. :P

On that inference, Mark, would it then not be logical to presume that Zeon sent the Black Tri-Stars' Doms not to take down Amuro and the Gundam, but instead to knock out White Base , while pinning their hopes on Gaia, Mash, and Ortega's pure piloting skill to negate the Gundam's obvious anti-MS role?

For all intents and purposes, the Titans already had control over the Federation's armed forces, especially after AEUG's raid on Dakar. It would end up being the Titans vs. Axis, and given the Titans' predictability in tactics and the matter of Axis having been studying the Titans' TACSOP for weeks ...

I don't know if it was an inaccuracy on Tomino's part, but in the first Gundam novel Char thought that the RX- 78's saber would melt right through his heat hawk. Which the anime shot in the foot in 0080 , further illustrating the producers' profound lack of caring what Tomino put in his novels.

There are more out there than just those two. Gerbera Tetra had arm-mounted weapons, for example, as did certain Gelgoog variants if memory serves me correctly. It's not common, probably due to the danger of losing such weapons to simple arm damage, but it's more prevalent than it seems.

Elizabeth: The Golden Age: a decent movie if one ignores the several glaring historical inaccuracies, most of which center around Walter Raleigh. Still, the imagery alone is just as potent as it was for Elizabeth.

Just finished Infinite Ryvius, and I'm not sure where to start. To sum it all up, someone once said that it was psychologically deeper than Evangelion, and I would have to say that it was that and then some. I agree. I've watched Ryvius through four times now and still don't think I've grasped the ...

Anything that uses Ocean Group's talent is a good dub, IMO. That the majority of anime don't just serves the premise that most dubs stink and the subtitle is the way to go. Yes, it's elitist, but I prefer good dubs to be rare and special and stick to subtitles for the majority of my collection. 8)

The logic behind Zaku II 's design has always been a little flimsy, ie - why is there a shoulder-mounted ram for body checking when there isn't a Fed suit design in existence to be body checked? In the case of the right shoulder shield, it seems purely reactive to the presence of the shoulder ram on...

Back of the head. More efficient than the Dra-C multi-slit setup.
