Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Anime Thread Mk III
Does Wong Lee show up in the novels? Since they showed the doctor from the Argama I wonder about other members of the AEUG especially Torres who was a civilian yet didn't join with Londo Bell like Astonage did. About who appears and who doesn't I don't think he does, but we do see Beltorchicka Irma...

Re: [Novel] - New Mobile Report Gundam Wing: Frozen Teardrop
I wouldn't hold my breath on that. It's not like Katoki is making new designs just for this manga, they're just using the stuff he did for other projects. True but i noticed in those Re; Gundam Wing stuff in the magazines that he went into more detail with some designs like showing that his version...

Too early for that to be even nominated since Frozen Teardrop is no where even close to being near the half way mark.

Re: [Novel] - New Mobile Report Gundam Wing: Frozen Teardrop
Actually given that Glory of the Defeated is a retelling of the show with the Ver Ka.'s, i have to wonder if Katoki will actually redesign Epyon this time around....

The message is pretty much the core theme of every Gundam series, but i thought it conveyed it pretty good especially for what they were trying to accomplish.

Re: [Novel] - New Mobile Report Gundam Wing: Frozen Teardrop
The Gryph or Leo IV is a variant that resembles the Tallgeese, so they aren't retconning or changing the name, its just a new design (which imo they might as well just have made it a Tallgeese Mass production type since it just needs the mask/faceplate over the screen eye). http://images4.wikia.noco...

Glory of the defeated is pretty much a retelling of the TV show with the Ver Ka's. Nothing much is new really probably a few references to Ep Zero but thats about it.

Re: The Official Gundam 00 Anything Thread Mk VIII
1. Much to my surprise, I teared up when Andrei died. Really shows how the character redeemed himself, since I was practically begging for him to die for most of the series finale. Manly tears were also shed when Graham died. When Patrick tried to do the same, I just LOL'd. My thoughts on that Yea ...

Re: [Novel] - New Mobile Report Gundam Wing: Frozen Teardrop
Luckily Zeonic Scans decided to do this. Considering also that Zechs was supposedly killed by Trowa, who better to take up that look then Milliardo's brother who in that outfit bears alot of resemblance to Zechs Marquise/Milliardo Peacecraft Two things: 1) Milliardo was killed by Trowa Phobos, who i...

http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/5084/1293341448894.jpg Now this should have been in the movie. I actually think that would have been really interesting to see given what his persona is. It really could have happened but i guess it wasn't meant to be. But yea i thought it was epic. Albeit the fan...

Re: [Novel] - New Mobile Report Gundam Wing: Frozen Teardrop
I sure hope "Warlock" and "Snow White" look as cool as they seem... But the cloaks are a bit much. Too much. I haven't really read the story yet, but from what I've gotten from synopses, it's very strange. I hope they aren't like the Gundams in Tiel's Impulse....and yea too much...

Re: 00 movie Gundams in 1/100?
The 1/144 HG's are pretty good from what i hear but i would wait to see if they pull another fast one by releasing updated versions with the final battle equipment like how they did with the S2 Gundams. Well at least for Zabanya and Harute. As for 1/100's perhaps they plan to MG them like Qan[T], wh...

Re: In Defense of Destiny
Testament was actually a ZAFT Gundam originally and the EA acquired it somehow so they just operate it. They didn't make it. If anything was weird about the EA during Destiny was the re-numbering of Abyss, Gaia, and Chaos into RGX. And as far as i know if it has a G.U.N.D.A.M acronym for its OS, its...

Re: Latest movie thread.
Theres a couple funny moments in Top Gun, my favorite would be when Tom Cruise does a flyby twice to the same guy and makes him spill his coffee XD. I Just saw the Other guys, One of Will Ferrel's best so far LOL, and Mark Wahlberg is just hilarious in there too. Funny thing about Mark's character t...

Re: On the so-called invincibility of the Gundams From Wing.
Wing - damaged by Virgos in one battle over two episodes (34-35) Worth pointing out, that means that a Gundam took big damage in pretty much all of the show's major battles. I suppose it tends to get glossed over because more often we have scenes of them shredding Leos, but it still happened. I was...

Re: On the so-called invincibility of the Gundams From Wing.
The Mercurius and the Vayate were just illusions put up by the scientists, their real goal was to upgrade their respective gundams. Sure they were ment to surpase Leo suits but not gundams. The military might have said they didn't study the Wing Gundam, and truthfully they may have not. But, Treize...

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors X
Its only been about a month since the MG Qan[T] came out so no, a Trans-Am recolor would be way too early at this point (same goes for a HG). If anything should be out about now or soon, it would be a GN-X IV HG 1/144. But yea im actually glad they didn't release 1/100 NG's for the 00 Movie, id rath...

Re: On the so-called invincibility of the Gundams From Wing.
I don't think they would be called invincible, just strong. In fact Wing has one of the better explanations in the gundam franchise as to why they are strong. Being made out of a special metal alloy called "gundanium" their armor is much stronger than any modern mobile suit. I'm thinking ...
