Re: The Official 00 Mecha Thread Mk XVII
CB's information is publically available much later on I believe. Robert Spacey wrote a book detailing about their stuff, which is essentially what 00V is. Maybe she became famous under that name or something. Kind of like how a lot of actors and writers become famous under their stage names, even ...

Re: Question about CE Gundams
Well, the real reason is because of the marketing. There, we got that out of the way. For an in-universe reason, I'm not too sure, but I'd put money on a combination of psychological warfare and technological limitations. The Strike mobile suit was the EA's greatest weapon, and while details might h...

Re: GN Arms
The Virtue however would have greatly benefited from such a system though given the relatively slow rate of fire it had compared to the other Gundams. Adding more guns would make up for that slow rate by having more guns to be shooting while others are recharging. Nadleeh would also get alot benefi...

Re: Camouflage.
Two cents to throw in: While it's not really seen on screen so it probably doesn't count, doesn't the Shell Flag have some sort of nanotech coating that gives it adaptive camouflage? And the Gundams have the rarely-used ability to cloak themselves when they're not active, which I don't think was eve...

Re: The Official 00 Mecha Thread Mk XVII
maybe its like developing a new game on the same game console rather than the new successor platform? Simply using the same graphic engine would be an apt comparison, if I may say so. After A-Laws' fall, what became of the remaining A-Laws MSs? The GN-X would be incorporated in the regular army, ok...

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors X
As per Derringer on HobbyFanatics: According to just released magazines (NDA lifted I guess).. November's MG is the 00Q. Sorry, no images yet to confirm. It seems a bit quick, but then again I can't remember what the gap was between the end of Season 2 and Exia's release. I'm a bit surprised it's n...

Re: Nanoha FORCE Next ("Nanoha MSV"?)
That's why I figured Fate would be Dygenguar (same giant sword Wodan used). Good point on Yuuno's transformation, though I think the Nanoha/Fate combo just makes more sense. Argh. I'm confused… then again, I've not really followed SRW, so I get the robots mixed up. Thankfully, there's no real debat...

Re: Nanoha FORCE Next ("Nanoha MSV"?)
Even Scarier Thought: 00 Raiser Nanoha (would that mean Yuuno takes the Saji Crossroad role?) I was thinking more Aussenseiter Nanoha and Dygenguar Fate. But Yuuno already transforms into a four-legged animal. Fate is more like Wodan, she's even got the giant energy sword. But, um, does anyone know...

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors X
I was talking with my friend earlier, and I felt there were a few possibilities: Dynames, Exia R2, 00 Gundam/Raiser/Seven Swords/G, and GN-XIII. 00 is the most obvious choice: it's another hero machine like Exia, it's already had a PG release so they've got experience making it, and you've got room ...

Re: Nanoha FORCE Next ("Nanoha MSV"?)
yeah. next up, Magic Powered Armor. am i the only person who think this is kind of over-spec? It's Nanoha. It won't be over-spec until they give her an actual giant robot powered by her magic that can fire a hundred Starlight Breakers simultaneously. What would they call that attack, "Century ...

Re: Nanoha FORCE Next ("Nanoha MSV"?)
That's just… wow. That's just glorious. I can't wait to hear what those shields and the backpack pods are for. Nanoha's facial expression seems to be asking what else they can equip her with: I'm guessing Nanoha's next set of equipment gives her a full suit of protective armor with enough defensive ...

Did the two V-MAX units ever do battle as two ribbons of blue and red light clashing against each other in space?Kuruni wrote:Bit of note, Zakarl has red V-MAX in SPT Layzner. Actually call "V-MAX Red Power" in SRW.

Re: "The original Trans-Am"?
Eh, I think the V-MAX system from SPT Layzner is the obvious ancestor of al these limited-duration power-ups. -- Mark You beat me to the punch. V-MAX is pretty much blue Trans-Am. Or, to phrase that in a more chronologically correct way, Trans-Am is basically red V-MAX, minus the computer that spea...

Re: "The original Trans-Am"?
I guess they're referring to Gundam Geminass and its PX system in the G-Unit manga series. While the two systems are similar, I do feel that the comparison is a little unfair, but since I've not read the manga I'll reserve my judgement until I hear from people who have read it.

Re: Fates of the Pegasi: What happened to the Pegasus-class?
I imagine that the Albion was scrapped during the coverup at the end of 0083. As for the rest, I guess they were either destroyed in battle or retired because it was probably cheaper to construct and operate atmospheric ships and space ships instead of a class of ships that can do both. We only see ...
