Re: The Official 00 Mecha Thread Mk XVI

It looks like that bit on the lower edge of the rifles/bits retained the wedge from the GN Pistol II's. Unless there's something else hidden, that's probably it for Zabanya's melee abilities, following Cherudim's example of melee as a last resort.

Not sure if there's further explanation elsewhere, but this is what the official site says on the matter: Carbon Humans Created from data on individuals possessed by Librarian, these are specific people who can be recreated limitlessly. Like a "carbon copy", these are "similar but dif...

Just the Tactical Arms.

Though with that, the original backpack is rather redundant and unnecessary.

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch & Rumors IX

It would be just like Lowe to do something like integrating Voiture Lumier into the Tactical Arms. I've been thinking about it ever since some of the more recent promo shots came out, featuring it in that configuration.

One of Ngee Khiong's posts featuring it.

Re: MG V Gundam question: hard points

Not without modifications.

You have the rifle holding hands and the grippy pieces you swap for the transformation (regular hands are too wide to fit in the wrist).

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch & Rumors VIII

One comment:

All these "rehashes" actually seem to show a bit more creativity and thought than just a normal recolor (imo). Bandai very easily could've just swapped the color palettes and add a new set of stickers, and called those the new units.

Re: A GN drive idea...

But my main concern is the health effects. I seems to remember that the red GN particles is bad for you. It prevents cellular regeneration, and makes any wound from the GN particles will prevent natural healing. But these are open wounds. And I am making the assumption that long term exposer may ha...

Re: The Official Gundam 00 Mecha Thread Mk XIV

Actually, a GN Buster Sword is a bit more than a normal physical GN blade. The GN Buster Swords make use of GN particles' ability to effect the weight of objects, to enhance the swings of the sword - the sword is lighter on the swing, making it easier to move faster, then gets heavier when it hits, ...

Re: LED lights for 1/100th 00 kits..

You could try HLJ's parts replacement service (I think Rainbow10 does it too). It will likely cost a bit more than the part's actually worth, but you'd have the exact parts you're looking for.

Any of the three 1/100 00 Gundam kits would be likely donors.

Looks like it might be an addition to the model to mount the missile launchers when in MS mode.

Red particles on their own aren't harmful. It's only when they're weaponized that they put out the harmful radiation.

Nuclear explosions only come from nuclear weapons... Blow up a reactor, and it's just a normal explosion that just happens to fling radioactive material around. It's essentially a dirty bomb. Don't forget, Tau particles themselves are harmless.

It's only when charged/weaponized that they cause cellular damage (beyond the effects of getting blasted by a beam weapon).

I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out that all the Gundams could project GN fields, either for unassisted reentry or defensive reasons (likely a matter of being able to properly sustain it, as well as GN particle management). Exia would be the only one I'm unsure of, since it's only apparent emitt...

That's part of it being a GN Buster Sword.

They tend to open up, and have a glowy core inside. What they do is take advantage of the way that GN particles effect the sword's weight.

It makes the sword lighter on the swing, then makes it heavier on impact, to increase the effect of the slash.

Something to keep in mind: It wouldn't make sense tactically to put a something like MM on any majorly integral part of the elevator system. Even without the threat of hostile forces coming to blow it up, there might be other problems, with possible malfunctions and mis/backfiring. It's a matter of ...

I have a feeling, that even though Memento Mori is rather massive, when compared to the scale of the ring, it's weight/mass is negligible.

Actually, this has come up before. It's believed that the funnels used in CCA are one-use only. They're small, rather simple, and the racks on the Jagd Dogas and Sazabi don't seem to be much more than a way to carry them into battle. Even the Nu Gundam's larger fin funnels seem to fit the same one t...

I seem to recall them also having their own dedicated sensor systems, though I'm not quite sure.

The MSZ-006C1's profile makes mention of this feature on it's rifle.
