In http://www.dalong.net/ go to MG and look for the Zaku 2.0 As you can see in the Information section, there is a little plastic green-yellow bag with the springs for the leg tubes. While the other tubes are fixed on the Zaku, the leg ones needed to be different since the legs need to flex and have...

My two cent: I first got into Gundam through Wing, although it was different to how most people here would have. I am from Argentina, where Gundam never reached for long years. I don't know why that is. Two entire generations, many of whom don't even give a shit about anime, were deeply in love with...

Macross fans seem to call them all Valkyries to have a generic catch-all term that rolls off the tongue better than "Variable Fighter". But they know they're not actually all called Valkyries. It's just an easy shorthand from what I've seen.

I have to say, I can also see a Guntank somewhere in the near future. Seriously, if people will buy a MG Gogg, they'll buy a damn Guntank.

Now, if they put out an MG Guntank Mass Production, that'd be sweet.

Good call, especially if JMS is familiar with Gundam as used it for inspiration on some aspects (for the life of me I can't imagine what they were from the top of my head). Then the question remains would he be interested in rewriting Gundam to be suited for American TV. My understanding is that he...

The idea I've toyed with in my occasional fits of delirium is this: Make 0079 into a live-action TV series. Hear me out. You've had a bunch of quite decent American sci-fi/TV shows in recent years. Even if many aren't to my liking, it's proven now that a TV audience can find these stories compelling...

I believe model kits of the V Gundam and V2 Gundam are viable. The main Gundam of a show always sells, plain and simple, and collectors would like to have all animated UC Gundams as MG kits. To compensate for V's small size, it could come with all the mission packs as well as the different heads (fo...

*looks up any big threads related to the colony laser* I'm new, what can I say. Anyhow, if the beams travelled close to the speed of light and only a very select few pilots could dodge them... doesn't that throw the Gryps era development of movable frame out the window? What's the point of making MS...

While I've been a fan of Gundam for many years, the novel trilogy cemented my understanding of Tomino's vision. I'll say that while Gundam was indeed revolutionnary, if he'd put out his vision in the mid-to-late-90s according to the novel, it would have been just as revolutionnary due to its real-sc...

If I remember correctly, some stuff in First Gundam was meant as a tribute to Star Wars: Char's helmet (similar to the upper portion of Darth Vader's), RX-78's targeting computer (similar to the X-Wing's), Beam Sabers (Lightsabers), as well as a hero with special powers (of course the concepts of Je...

Thanks for your comments guys. Just for the record, I have watched L-Gaim and loved it. It's a pity Nagano's final vision never made it to TV screens after he was disappointed with the FSS movie. L-Gaim is amazing due to the combination of Nagano's epic storytelling with Tomino's multi-layered consp...

Detailed Psyco Gundam kit/statue

Well, I'm saying statue because this page doesn't show it in any different poses: http://www.geocities.jp/ykncg788/link123.htm Nice isn't it? Looks certainly much meaner than the original lineart, and even than the BADDO-APPU! HGUC. Anyone know what model it is, or is it a scratch-build? If it's the...
