Re: Bang Brave Bang Bravern

A Nadesico type twist would actually work quite well plot wise.

Re: Synduality Noir

Having just seen Episode 15 , I'd say it's the best of the series so far. We finally get more background on many of the characters and settings Such as the fact that Tokio and Black Mask are connected somehow (probably being related to a degree) to the point that he follows Black Mask at the episode...

Re: Metallic Rouge

That is rather a big issue with this show, it's hard to get invested with the main characters (particularly given they treat Nean's like everyone else does), It's possible ( or given the direction these stories usually go , probable) the main characters might eventually change their viewpoint on Nea...

Dorvack Mech Profiles

So is there any site out there that has line art of the mechs from Dorvack? It seems to be rather a cult series, but its hard to find the mech profiles.

Re: Bang Brave Bang Bravern

Going by convention we will probably face the other Six alien mechs soon, of course depending on how long the show itself goes for, there could well be more ships or even a main fleet coming at some point. For the time being the alien mechs seem to increase in size as they go on We also get to see a...

Re: Metallic Rouge

The Second Episode really feels like an improvement on the first. The characters are getting more developed, we get a bit more worldbuilding concerning Mars and Alien war history(again kind of like Cowboy Bebop in the history of the setting getting revealed vaguely through the show). The action set ...

Re: Armored Trooper artificial muscles

It seems like Takahashi reused the Artificial Muscle idea later on, as Gasaraki utilizes them in its real robots.

Re: Expanded Universe Details?

I didn't realize there was actually supposed to be a sequel to F91, though that makes sense honestly. Really it's a shame the issues the movie faced given all the work and side materials put in to the pre production, plus the story itself is also fairly interesting if a bit underdeveloped. Back to A...

Re: Post Disaster Terraforming (IBO)

Terraforming in IBO is another piece of technology that is not exactly explained in detail, The only info
I could easily find suggested chemicals from Venus's atmosphere were used to stabilize Mars , but that was from the Gundam Wiki, so it's hard to find a source.

Do you think all the projects will be Kickstarters? Or will some see mass retail release?

Re: Bang Brave Bang Bravern

Orange always does a great job on mecha CGI (like Active Raid and Majestic Prince), I guess the earlier mention first episode twist is that this is more of a Super Robot show than Real Robot, at last as far as Bravern is concerned ( anyone else getting a bit of Gurren Lagann vibes from the Bravern? )

Metallic Rouge

So what does everyone think of this? The animation and worldbuilding are great (particularly involving the mecha and city scape), But I find the main characters are a little thinly written so far. Aside from some Blade Runner vibes, does anyone else think the show has kind of a Cowboy Bebop vibe goi...

Re: Synduality Noir

It's also nice to see the plot move forward, the first season had more than its share of filler episodes.
Spoiler
The characters are now traveling to Histoire, so I guess we'll see how that goes

Re: Armored Trooper artificial muscles

Having an artificial muscle system actually makes a lot of sense for the Scopedog, as its more maneuverable and actually quite a bit smaller than other real robots.

Re: Post Disaster Terraforming (IBO)

Even if the Earths moon is destroyed, maybe they could still colonize the moons of the other planets: it would give access to the resources without as much difficulty in terraforming.. In the IBO anime(I haven't read any of the manga) at least we see colonies in space and terraforming, but it's not ...

Re: Layzner and Dragonar

Thanks, looking at the designs in Dragonar you can really see some similarity to Layzner ( Particularly in some of the Giganos units).

Layzner and Dragonar

So according to the page for Layzner variations, some of the designs that were left unused following Layzner being cut short ended up in Dragonar. Is there any information on which unused designs were repurposed?

Re: The Phasing out of the Pegasus Class?

It's also worth noting none of the enemy factions really tried to copy the design. A lot of Zeon ships were more of a long cruiser style than the bulky Trojan Horse design. In fact those designs may have been what the Federation ended up following later on.
