Re: Is Africa still so backwards in Gundam 00's AD?
I would assume that hosting the AEU's Orbital Elevator, even when its not part of the AEU itself would land Africa a sweet deal in the energy distribution department. Not to mention the advantages it will get since people would come there to use the OE itself. However, since the Elevator that collapse ...

Re: The Official 00 Mecha Thread Mk XV
You're getting your information mixed up. Chall, Ruido, and Marlene were exposed to a vapor of highly condensed GN Particles when the experimental condensers on the Plutone ruptured. What happened to Chall is completely different from the kind of disease that occurs from exposure to the red particl...

Re: The Official 00 Mecha Thread Mk XV
Wasn't that due to a containment failure, as opposed to the normal particle exhaust from operating a GN mobile suit's systems? That's exacly my point, the green wavelength GN Particles are suppose to be non-hazardous radiation no matter what form they are.In Chall's case she suffered permanant radia...

Re: The Official 00 Mecha Thread Mk XV
Well, if it's Raphael doing the GN Nuking it wouldn't be a problem. Presumably it's got a true Drive and we know those produce good particles that cure 'GN Cancer' (along with bad attitudes and poor communication). I dunno,Chall suffered radiation poisoning from a True Drive, and it affected her hea...

Re: The Official 00 Mecha Thread Mk XV
A bit off topic from the discussions of the newly released images of the Movie Gundams..... This is regarding Tau Trans-Am,what exactly are the extent of the damage that the Drives suffer anyway, based on the profiles of the DX Mechanics March 09 Issue and the HG Hilling Garazzo manual? I'm trying to...

Re: The Official 00 Mecha Thread Mk XV
Looks like a new frame to me, or a rebuilt 00 with some extensive reworking. Given the apparent size of the shield, I suspect that the 0 Raiser's TDS stabilizing functions were incorporated into the main frame; The old binders certainly can't fit if that shield is in place Fitting in the main frame...

Re: The Official 00 Mecha Thread Mk XV
By the way, what was the official battle classification given to 00 Gundam/Raiser?[Referring to main suit, not the Seven Sword Variation].Assuming it was even stated.
Would it be Close Combat like Exia or General Purpose?

Re: The Official 00 Mecha Thread Mk XV
XN Raiser refers to 0 Raiser with the GN-Buster Sword III equiped. In the simulation that Saji went through, its so powerful in theory that even an amateur like Saji can own enemies with it,when he failed using the normal 0 Raiser previously int he simulator. [Put it simply, its really like a Hax chara...

Re: The Official 00 Mecha Thread Mk XV
I'm actually curious as to the abilities of the GN Buster Sword III really. It seems that it they alone can make XN Raiser into a killing machine, even when 00 is not present at all [and Saji as the pilot] .I'm wondering how that would work. And he sucked pretty bad when he was using the simulator wit...

Re: The Official 00 Mecha Thread Mk XV
I'd thought the XN Raiser part was very suspicious, but I think some of the other MSVs there are not too bad,the info I mean. But I've seen those elsewhere before.
I'm guessing we know little to nothing about XN Raiser's actual mechanical details I presume?

Re: The Official 00 Mecha Thread Mk XV
Need some help determining the source of some info: The XN Raiser is the variation of 0 Raiser appeared in Gundam 00V. When in use, this variation simply connects to the 00 Gundam's back, forming the 00 Gundam XN. In comparison to the 0 Raiser, The XN Raiser is both smaller yet more armored than the...

Re: The Official 00 Mecha Thread Mk XV
Not sure whether Fon's Astraea or the Innovator's non-Plutone black GNYs had GN armor either. It is also surprising that there hasn't been a single article that aggregately describes GN units with the attribute of GN armor, which implies that it maybe design specific. Considering how durable the fu...

Re: The Official 00 Mecha Thread Mk XV
Hmm, it gives an emphasis on the GN Composite Armor that was employed on the Plutone. For us out of universe reader, the plutone article was also the first one to mention it. Does that mean that at least the early completed versions of the GN-000 and GNYs 001 to 003 lack this feature? What I find e...

Re: The Official 00 Mecha Thread Mk XV
http://ninteenpointzerofour.wordpress.com/2009/09/23/00v/#more-2710 There's a little data on the I Gundam in there. According to the same source, the correct spelling it seems to be the 1 Gundam, but the pronciation is still "I" or "ai". I personally dislike this spelling, since wh...

Re: The Official 00 Mecha Thread Mk XV
GN Cannon EDIT: Also, the Reborns Gundam without the Cannon components. Saw a slightly bigger version of the GN Cannon scan elsewhere, got a little info out of it. There is a GN[T] drive on its back, where we normally expect the drives to be. The condensers on the arms are pretty clear. The huge re...

Sorry to go off-topic among all the new info on 00P Reborns and GN Cannon. Well,it was suppose to be have a Tank mode as well, but it needed 2 people to operate and Ribbons simply did not want that.
Ironic, how the Exia similarity was actually mentioned to in the profile.

Re: The Official 00 Mecha Thread Mk XV
Got some questions on Trans-Am.Sorry if they sound confusing,I'm sure they are but I am curious. 1)From what we know,in a Gundam,is Trans-Am more reliant on increase in Drive output or the prevalant Condenser supply when it is activated? 2)And what exactly does it triple anyway?Total energy released...

Re: The Official 00 Mecha Thread Mk XV
The manual states that they are 2 types of Fangs for Reborns, the Large Fin Fangs and the Small Fin Fangs. Those are the actual names.
The larger ones are more powerful but are slower and easier to take down while the smaller ones are alot like regualr fangs I think.
