Re: Front Mission
I've only played it a little bit but Front Mission Evolved hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be. I could see were maybe the game design aspect isn't all that great and may lead to a lot of grief and exploit abuse.

Re: Fate of UC Gundam biological weapon Astaroth
So let me try to summarize some of the main points: Even if didn't exist, information regarding it was leaked to the Federation to be as a decoy so that operation Staircase to the Moon, which I assume took place somewhere else in Australia while the attack on the HLV base took place. Here's Mark's ...

Re: Shiny New Info from the Master Archive
There's not a whole lot of "nuts and bolts" info here - just the usual basic specs for the mobile suits - but there's a pretty extensive selection of equipment specs towards the back of the book. Some of the serial numbers come from the Master Grade series, amd some of the other specs mig...

Re: Fate of UC Gundam biological weapon Astaroth
Astaroth was a ploy (although it could have been a real virus, bear in mind by that point in the story we know the Resistance group Wombat has embedded Zeon sympathizers so their intel cannot be entirely trusted. ) used by Visch Donahue to get the HLV of men and equipment launched safely from the Hu...

Re: RX-78-1 Prototype Gundam
I could of sworn at one point Mark had mentioned the RX-78-1 lacked the hip/waist supplemental generators of the RX-78-2 specifically but maybe I'm remembering that wrong. An old model kit(?) had the RX-78-1's rifle attached to the forearm via some sort of connector. The MSiA RX-78-1 lacks any weapo...

Re: Front Mission
Your best bet of playing an amazing Front Mission game is to try and find Front Mission 3. I've played pretty much every Front Mission (yes even alternative ugh) and I'd have to agree with this statement. It doesn't boil down to any specific aspect(s) of the game but overall it's the most enjoyable...

Re: Robotech Battlecry
I have a dislike for escort missions in any game catseye level not withstanding :P The level where you fight the Glaug in the city is a bit annoying too. I think my favourite Robotech game thus far is actually the GBA scroller (as simple as it is) it's actually a lot of fun to play plus you get to u...

Re: Gundam's Current Market? Still Strong?
Like nearly everything else, it didn't get much promotion by CN. It had a promo/eye catch/commercial dealie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9VgYdP6oNc I ran across this on another message board "In mid-2002, after the completion of "Gundam 0080", a UC side story airing on AS, Mobile ...

Re: Fates of the Pegasi: What happened to the Pegasus-class?
But what gives with the blue Pegasus -class ship in 0081: Battlefield Record ? :? No idea. I never saw it or played it or whatever'd it (I still haven't got a clue what the heck it actually is 8)), and haven't heard anyone cover the Pegasus class that is apparently in it, so someone else will have ...

So I guess this means people finally got around to buying and viewing their US releases Kind of surprising that it took a month though.

Re: Mobile Suit Battle Record UC 0081
It's a huge refinement of Crossfire/Target in Sight but it's a bit grindy (like the stereotypical Japanese RPG). Much like DC's Rise from the Ashes it's excellent that it has it's own original story as well.
Personally I was really excited that all the GM snipers were in the game.

Re: Pre-OYW Zaku training program
It's been mentioned a few times that the three months comment isn't about Karen being a mobile suit pilot. Timeline wise it's impossible, as no Federation suits enter combat until after the RX-78-2 does in mid-September. I'm not sure what else she would be doing in that time (Doctor stuff?) Doesn't...

Re: IKEA Detolf Cabinet - In need of elevation racks for Gunpla
A lot of members on Macross World use the Detolf's, you could maybe poke around there for inspiration. I'm thinking you might want to get some kind of stairs to maximize you use of space inside each level. Daiso (if you have any in your area) sells a few things that *might* work but you'll have to l...

Re: Augusta Research Facility
Augusta base seems to also have a large role in the PS3 game of I don't know all the details, though I do know that on Zeon's side of the story, Augusta base is destroyed by a moon mass driver. If you play the Federation side you prevent this. There's actually a map in game although I can't get my ...

Re: Latest Gundam/Mecha Merchandise thread (2008-2010)
@G-slayer No one really talks about MSiA/EMSiA/RD/etc on here. I had noticed and have several on preorder myself. It looks to be an excellent release and something I've been waiting probably over 10 years for personally. There also supposedly a White Dingos version from the Dreamcast Rise from the A...

The seller who posted the ones I saw before on ebay was selling all knock off merchandise. Not sure if the picture you put up is from the same seller though.
