Re: The Phasing out of the Pegasus Class?

So is it every explained why or when exactly the Pegasus Class ( and Trojan Horse Ships like the Argama and Nahel Argama in general) are phased out? For example the Titan's have no shortage of resources, yet aside from the Dogosse Giar they all have much smaller ships that almost seem like cruisers...

Re: Zeon MS Frame Compatability

Since we are on the topic of MS compatibility... given the United Maintence Plan and how some components are shared between the units under this plan.... I don't know why the Zaku II Kai did not have any external propellant tanks like the Rick Dom II and Gelgoog Jaeger had... cause the Zaku II Kai ...

Re: Zeon MS Frame Compatability

When we're on the topic of compatibility in OYW, just how different are the RX-78 to the Jaburo- and Luna II-made GM? Pretty different, considering the RX-78 and RGM-79 are made out of different structural and armor materials and the design was reworked to simplify it significantly in order to make...

Re: Zeon MS Frame Compatability

Hey y'all. I was wondering if the different frames from some Zeon MS are compatible with each other, what I mean is stuff like being able to replace the limbs of one mobile suit with the limbs of another without any major modifications. I'm not sure if the MS-06RD-4 Zaku High Mobility Test Type cou...

Re: Moving Cities?

Considering the colonies are located in orbit at the Lagrange points... all of them are technically ALWAYS moving. Though I guess "special mentions" would go to Island Iffish and the other colonies that were... "relocated"... to Earth. And every colony except Cyrano-5 as of the ...

Re: Moving Cities?

Gundam has:
1) the colony Judah moved to Alpha Centuri that will arrive in UC0653 (V manga side story)
2) the colony I forgot who moved to leave the Solar system (from Astray)
3) the final scene of the movie, the ship Sumeragi (https://www.mahq.net/sumeragi/) is probably also one.

Re: Questions about Martian Successor Nadesico and Gunbuster

Kinda, yeah... it's called a Tannhauser field and it's central to like 3/4 of the technology in the story as a form of gravity and inertia control. Gunbuster is set in a future where humanity has not only sorted out a unified field theory explaining how the fundamental forces of the universe intera...

Re: Production Capabilities of the Axis Zeon Shipyards

It's never a good idea to trust the Gundam Wikia, since it doesn't really distinguish between canon and non-canon works... nor is it particularly wise to assume that non-animated works are canon. Not to mention that any numbers for anything cited are effectively subject to retcon as the UC becomes ...

Re: Axis, Moussa, and Neo Zeon in the aftermath of the First Neo Zeon War

We back, my honored elders, with yet ANOTHER question! Of all the time periods of the early Universal Century, there is none as completly unexplored as the First Neo Zeon War (and it IRKS ME something good. It's always the same OYW or, to spice things up, the same OYW.) But my interest knows no bou...

Re: RX-93 v Gundam (novel) vs CCAMSV

So what exactly differentiates the RX-93 v Gundam From Beltrochika's Children from the RX-93-v2 Hi-v Gundam from CCA MSV? The both look almost identical. The Hi-Nu Gundam design was originally just the Nu Gundam in CCA-BC. Later it was included in CCA-MSV and retconned to be the completed form of t...

Re: Bisidan MS

So are there any differences between the Shaldoll Rogue and the G-Exes Jackedge? They both appear to be mass produced, and both have the same Rollout year. Is one used more by commanders? It just seems strange a small force would have two mass produced units that both seem to have the same purpose....

Re: What is the MS-06B?

Normally, they'd go sequentially through the alphabet for variant letters unless there were some special consideration requiring that they skip one or more letters... That said, I seem to have found the actual/official answer on page 048 of Master Archive Mobile Suit: MS-06 Zaku II . It's a lengthy...

Re: What is the MS-06B?

This actually makes a lot of sense because if you search for MS-06B on Google, you can see that many of those are incorrect typos of MS-05B or MS-07B. Even the MS shojo Note of MS-05B tweet from the official account made the mistake of making the typo as MS-06B Zaku I https://twitter.com/yatate_haj...

[*] Zeon's armed forces opted to skip the letter B in order to avoid confusion with some other design, or because the letter B was reserved for some special purpose. Re: Mundane Technologies of the Universal Century?

We don't see any other novel smartphone designs modeled on living things at the time - Ranka's is a Japanese giant salamander - but we do see several other characters using cell phones with novel/unconventional designs in the series and later titles feature similar devices. It seems to be more a st...

Re: Mundane Technologies of the Universal Century?

As for Internet/E-Mail, Victory Gundam has Uso E-Mail Katejnia (did E-Mail exist in 1993, because that looks like what he's using). email pretty much existed since 1975, but the term E-mail was only used since 1979.(before that people used "electronic mail" to call that) Really Macross do...
