Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk

I must have missed it somewhere, but why are there no beam weapons around? Obvious answer is the nano-laminate armor, but what exactly does that do that made beam weapons so neutered that no one uses them any more?

Re: Gundam Wing GOL/FT/MG new stuff THREAD

Or maybe the whole thing is a giant joke and we skip to Heero waking up after his first attempt to blow up the Wing and him rubbing his head and going, "Wow, that almost felt real there for a second." So that scene when Trowa asks what it's like to self-detonate, and Heero says "it hurts like hell"...

Re: Female Final Boss

There's the 1995 arcade game Gundam Ex-Revue which technically has this as the pilot of the last MS you fought (the MS-19 Domel ) was female. i don't suppose there are images of the pilot? i have never heard of that gundam game before your post. There are. Her name is Ramuiko Stein BTW, and obvious...

Well, that region locking definitely raises a flag. That song also has wormed its way into my ear like a Ceti Alpha V sand leach, and I love it.

Also they managed to get the Gundam from sitting on its duff power source to operational mobile suit quite quickly. Kinda surprised me in that sense.

It's like Two-Face's coin in this thread. On the good side you have awesome GoL stuff, and on the bad side you have Frozen Tearderp.

Re: AEUG Early MS?

Speaking of the Galbaldy Beta (RMS-117 in this case), it is the one unit that I do find strange that the AEUG didn't manage to get ahold of. Wasn't it even deployed before the GM II? None of the defecting units brought Betas with them I'd guess. Not surprising considering we only saw them on ships ...

Getting the A/C working in a 10 year old car can be a trip at times depending on the condition of the vehicle.

Re: multiple chest flyer and leg flyer for impulse but 1 cor

Well, this goes back to an earlier point I made that you don't replace the parts just anytime. You have to do it wisely and make sure you have the opening to do so. Random points in battle would suggest otherwise as no one seemed to wait for an appropriate opening. It was always "get me this part A...

The Phantoma LEV is covered in an artificial muscle and ceramic bone plating....so...assuming the internal frame is mechanical with gears, motors, circuits and all. This would make the Phantoma slightly organic, right? Wrong. Muscle and bone it may be, but they are by your own words synthetic mater...

Re: multiple chest flyer and leg flyer for impulse but 1 cor

If Kira couldn't recover and/or shoot down the parts and neither could the squadron defending the Lohengrin cannon do so then why do you persist that the individual parts are vulnerable? Since they are all flyers then maybe they are autonomous and can also dodge attacks. Eitherways, evidence from t...
