A Question about the Colonies
Where do they get their water from? I understand where they get food and stuff, but what about water?

Re: General Fanfiction Discussion 2: Electric Boogaloo
I feel that there is nothing wrong with poking fun at certain things, as long as it doesn't go overboard (unless its a comedy story, and I don't usually do comedy stories), except for a story I posted here with flying Anfs shooting down Jinxs. Yeah, back to the topic at hand. Watching and studying c...

Re: Zeta Gundam: Why is it so great?
Back to Zeta, and the discussion on Reccoa...... I think her gender rants were a side effect of her mounting guilt. She clearly wasn't cool with everything the Titans did, as evidenced in the scene of her sobbing after a gas attack. She realized what she was doing was wrong, but had already cast her...

Re: General Fanfiction Discussion 2: Electric Boogaloo
Well, I probably needed to hear that. As much as I would've liked to do an original Gundam thing, I will admit that after thinking about it for a while, and after reading this post, I think I'm going to scrap it. I do have plenty (too many) other fanfic ideas, most of them the equivalent of spin-off...

Re: General Fanfiction Discussion 2: Electric Boogaloo
As a budding sci-fi writer who wants to do both original stories and fanfics, I may have started something that will challenge every skill I've ever developed in my years of starting but never finishing any stories. Or I've created something that will just be good fun to write. The latter one. Essen...

Re: Zeta Gundam: Why is it so great?
And on paper, Zeta sounds fantastic. A Universal Century turned on its head? Those who held the reigns of the future betrayed by those who purportedly the good guys? This is exactly why I liked Zeta early on. As much as I love Zeon, it was nice to see a different foe, at least at first. Finally, th...

Re: First Successful Frankens and Such
I wasn't aware that you could even accurately move stuff around and slot it nicely with the rest of the components. You can. One of the options in the selection tab is transparent selection. Really helps to slot things together nicely, but I often have to redraw or recolor some parts anyway. If I d...

Some extra stuff, including a new Franken and some Rick Dom variants. First, the MS-09RS Rick Dom Shuredda ( http://imageshack.us/f/839/ms09rrrickdomreisswolf.jpg/ ), built to fire as many bullets as possible in a vain attempt to pummel through armor. The parts used are a Dom, part of the Gouf Custo...

Re: What's Your Avatar, Mk IV
The mighty Rick Dom. Lest you laugh at this mobile suit, remember this, it was a Rick Dom that destroyed the Gundam and killed Amuro in the MSG novel. Not a Gelgoog, or the Zeong, or any of the other powerful mobile suits that didn't actually show up in the novel. It was the Rick Dom. You have been ...

Re: Member Introduction Thread Mk. III
Hi, I'm Scorpius7692, and I probably should've posted here before anywhere else, but I goofed up yet again. Oh well. I'm still pretty new to the Gundam franchise, having just watched the original MSG this summer, followed by most of Zeta, all of 00, and I've just begun Wing. So far, I'm mostly enjoy...

Re: Zeta Gundam: Why is it so great?
As much as I enjoyed the Titan vs AEUG conflict at the show's beginning, I willd admit that it got a little tedious (and the darn Byalant had shown up), and I began to like Zeta again when Axis showed up. Plus, I was hoping for less group angst and stupidity and more of trying to beat the powerful H...

Re: Zeta Gundam: Why is it so great?
Personally I have to agree it is getting incredibly grating as to how much the side stories and OVAs are bending over backwards to paint the Federation as so incompetent that they couldn't find their shoes in a mild Minovsky environment. It's also a big problem that Zeon must constantly rise again ...

Re: First Successful Frankens and Such
Just MS Paint. That's all I have. I'm not planning on doing too much frankening. This is more so I can beter visualize some mobile suit concepts that I have for fanfics and such. This particular Zaku Flight Type will probably show up in a short series of stories I plan to do, along with any other st...

First Successful Frankens and Such
I think I might be finally getting the hang of it. Sort of. Below is my latest project that I can stand to look at. The torso and legs are from the H-8 Gouf Flight Type. The head and arms are from the Desert Zaku. Most of the recoloring is on the Desert Zaku parts, more to make it match up more to t...

Re: Zeta Gundam: Why is it so great?
To give my two cents on the matter, I do agree that Zeta has a bit too much hype, which is not to say that I don't like the show. Even though I haven't finished the entire series (3-5 episodes left to go), and I haven't seen the show for a little while, I think I have developed my own opinion about ...

Re: Custom Lineart Request Thread: Lucky Number Seven
Well, its been two weeks, and I've decided to replace my old request with a new one. Its basically a pair of custom Geara Dogas. The first one is just Rezin's Doga ( http://images.wikia.com/gundam/images/5/52/AMS-119_Geara_Doga_Rezin.jpg ) with two of the Kshatriya's shoulder binders ( http://images...

A Random 00 Story of Randomness
I don't even know why I am posting this. This was suppossed to be a serious story, but then this happened.... The lead Anf crumpled like paper under the barrage of beam shots, collapsing into a molten metal heap. A single cannon shot flared from its wingman, but the antique suit’s head was disintegr...

A Question on the Gaza series
Since the Gaza series (Gaza-C, Gaza-D, and Ga-Zowmn) were supposedly one of Neo Zeon's most common mobile suits in the First War, would they have been used within Earth's atmosphere, or were they exclusively for space combat?

First (Bad) Attempt at a Franken Mobile Suit
Click the linky http://destroyerofworldsxd.deviantart.com/art/Bad-Franken-Mech-Thing-259684657 This is my first (and really bad) attempt at making a Franken mobile suit. This is more for a fanfiction I'm planning on doing that has a number of mobile suits that I've made up. This is one of them. Yes,...
