Re: Gundam Unicorn Novel Ending

You know, if you guys are going to tell Dollow to spoiler tag his post, the least you could do is *not* quote the spoiler yourselves. :P

Re: Which Will Be Next? (ZZ, V, or X?)

Victory

ZZ was not well received by fans (even if that isn't necessarily the case anymore), and X of course was cancelled due to non-existent ratings. Victory doesn't really carry any kind of stigma with it, so, imo, it's the most likely to be looked at next.

If "MC" is supposed to be a new calendar, I take it it's supposed to mean "Mars Colony"?

Re: Axis post 0093 question

It probably doesn't count as being "official," but wasn't Axis seen at the center of the ring colony in Ring of Gundam?

Re: Wufei's Counterattack

For starters, Wufei is generally disliked because most of what he says and does makes no sense (e.g.:He deems others as weak, though they fight; he deems himself as weak, though he fights). I think it makes sense if you consider that Wufei and Heero seem to share the same beliefs here: that all of ...

The subs do say CE. But keep in mind that CE = Common Era, which is the Japanese name to refer to AD/Anno Domini.

Yes we did. It wasn't exactly a subtle hint as to Audrey really is.
Yes, it's pretty obvious that Audrey Burne is, in fact, a movie star!

Re: Turn A Origins?

Is this official? As I noted above, you can arrive at the "3,000 years" figure simply by subtracting the 2,000 years of the CC era from the 5,000 year gap between the "first space age" and the events of Turn A Gundam (as estimated by the characters in the TV series). So the preface in Gundam Offici...

well, according to "Mobile Suit Gundam: High Frontier" website. and seeing the time-line The Universal Century end in 0225, and the correct century begins in 2225 0225 ~ 2225 The Interregnum. The Universal Century calendar ends and the Correct Century calendar begins. in 2345, Turn A re-activated, ...

Re: Model Numbers

The numbering scheme in Victory Gundam is pretty crazy, but Mark explained it like this: League Militaire Victory Gundam's League Militaire uses an unusual, and rather complex, designation system. A series of digits tally the number of parts the mobile suit separates into, how many generators it has...

Re: Universal Century, Post V Gundam?

If it ever gets made, Ring of Gundam will be the furthest point in the UC timeline.

(Unless you're like me and consider Turn A to be the far future of the Universal Century.)

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk I

It does indeed seem that the Kshatriya turns its thrusters full-blast at the Jegan but it seems so wierd that it doesn't move backwards also like a previous poster implied. I guess that's the best answer however I still feel sorry for that poor Jegan pilot..... Also, did the Banagher take control o...

Re: Turn A Origins?

To be fair on his part, he mentions his source turn a was made by uc, written in a uc encyclopedia. an article of "2001 Correct Century, A Bibliographical Study of "Black History" was written on it. hence this is officially claimed that the Universal Century is a time before Correct Century, possi...

If the ReZel can only be used in space, then that would explain the need for the Ankusha (which I believe is a mass-produced Asshimar, yes?).

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Anime Thread Mk II

Also, Cardeas offered probably the best explanation of Newtypes and their role in the world this side of Gundam X. It was nice to have it all explained so neatly like that. Oh definitely, that was a great way of addressing the whole Newtype phenomenon (and nicely foreshadows their "mythical" status...
