This episode basically strengthen my conviction that in the future Bandai is selling raw materials and design files for 3d printed gunpla parts :) Broken gunplas can be fixed fast and easy, creative people can modify the design files and create their own designs, and there is profileration of gunpla...

I keep on watching G-Reco mostly because Bellry and Mask is an interesting protagonist-antagonist and the mecha designs are refreshing. Who would thought something like G-Aeon and G-Lucifer are being made into kits? And that stupid-but-good looking Mack Knife? It's hilarously entertaining.

Well, CMIIW, but the logic behind mobile suit's humanoid form is because its weapons can then be interchangeable and designing weapons can become easier because you can mimic human's weapons.
Then again you have Heavy Arms and Zssa that has weapons all over their bodies...
