Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV

Or Sniped. But the Drive-By Hit was something I did not expect. As for the one behind it I think it is either McGillis, having ordered during his time "out and about" before the encirclement, or Nobliss, because he is an evil son of bitch. I take it with Orga dead, the plan just got blown apart. No...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk III

yeah fair enough, though as you said I'm not sure how Rustal/Gaelio know about this. Carta attacked tekkadan like 4(I think) times so from the outsider's perspective McGillis machinations would go unnoticed as it could be considered a normal day for her. Maybe I just don't remember some dialogue. M...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk III

Why does everyone(even the characters in the show) talk about Carta being killed by Mackie? He obviously wasn't even near, It was Mika who pulverized her. Or do you mean that she got the information of the train's route from him while he knew that they are going to be defeated? That makes some sens...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk III

Damn, the show certainly wasted no time getting into the thick of things in what has gotta be the most action packed episode of the series so far. The Barbatos Lupus Rex makes its debut and boy is it awesome. From the new and improved mace-chan to the the tail whip, the Rex is one mean beast and I c...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk III

Oh No No No No God F***** Damnit WHY?!?!?! Lafter x Akihiro was one of the few rays of sunshine left in this series. Now with that ship sunk all that's really left is Mika x Atra and things aren't exactly looking bright for them. Despite it being a trap Orga won't back down now and knows it will mos...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk

OK now I hate Lok. I mean he was always an idiot and a danger to those around him, but I didn't really care about him despite the damage he caused back in the MA arc. Now the guy is a dick and i was really hoping either Amida or Naze would take that SOB out, but it looks like the writers have other ...

Re: A bunch of assorted Gundam UC questions

Good questions for a fan looking to broadien their UC horizons! :) 1.Why did Ramba Ral stay in the zeon army after the one week battle? Do we ever get an explanation for this? In addition did he know that casval and artesia where sent to earth? (First gundam cannon, not orgin). One may be a loyal a...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk

Damn, those arms on the Rex are huge, I wonder if it has weapons stored inside them. I like that they incorporated the tail blade from the MA, but at the same time it takes up the space where the Barbatos' main thruster used to be. What are they gonna do about its propulsion? Overall it's certainly ...

Re: Full Metal Panic IV

Well we finally have our title, Full Metal Panic: Invisible Victory.

Not exactly sure what relevance the title has to the story, but there you have it. Also whether by design or coincidence the abbreviation comes out as FMP IV which is correct if you consider Fumoffu season 2.

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk

Didn't they announce IBO's Second Season after the end of the first? Therefore, if we do get a Third Season they may announce it after the end of the Second. Hopefully. Yeah s2 was announced right after the end of s1. So if by some incredible stroke of luck Sunrise does want to do a 3rd season we w...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk

I wonder if there will be a third season for Iron Blooded Orphans. This far in, we should at least get a glimpse of what the end game scenario will be. Right now, the show is just going through the motions. I suspect the ending for this season will leave the possibility open for another one. I'm go...

Hmm...so it seems I wasn't too far off about the nano armor scattering the beam particles.

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk

No wonder there are no beam weapons in this show for mobile suits... the nano laminate armor on all mobile suits is called that for a reason... beam weapons do no damage.... hence why only bullet and melee weapons damage the armor.... I'm a bit confused now. I thought it was established way back in...

Re: The Official Gundam The Origin Anime Thread Mk I

Thanks for the replies, Zeonista! I just remembered something else that has me curious. It looks like Kycilia Zabi's age has been changed. She's 24 in 0079 according to Mark Simmon's guide book from the early 2000s. The Origin anime starts its main story in 0068, which would put her at 11, which sh...

Re: The Official Gundam The Origin Anime Thread Mk I

Now, that being said, I do like to ask some topics of those who have seen it? Spoilers abound I guess the incident where Kai drags Amuro off from bed into the denied zone of Side 7 will be in the next ep? Doesn't the "Chronicle of Char and Sayla" branding seem pretty moot, since Artesia/Sayla has l...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk

This feels more like a death flag for Takaki then anything , I mean once Teiwaz hears about Tekkadan wanting to be the king of Mars their not going to like that and there will be a falling out and when that happens, you can bet your soul Takaki is going to die protecting his sister when Teiwaz is l...

Re: Full Metal Panic IV

It's long past time for a continuing series! That being said, count me in for it. Too bad there will not be a Dancing Very Merry Christmas anime, but I understand the desire to spend $$$ on an anime series that is not "Die Hard on the Love Boat". What can I say, it was an effin' hilarious story, an...
