Re: Gundam Villains - Who Can Be Saved?

Speaking of G Generation DS, you can actually save Cima in normal route (although I think you need to beat the game once) with some power of friendship. It's done by has Char speak up for her when Axis officer denied her access, he'll point out that Cima simply follow her order and unaware of the m...

Wait, you're read the 08th MS Team novels before?
They were released online in China a few years ago.

The Mini 14 is said to have a very low to zero recoil force.
Just how many MP40 derivatives does Zeon have? Taiga 70, MP71 (which also had featurs of a HK), unnamed MP, etc...

I remembered Bill Bryson wrote something about dropping an asteroid onto Iowa in A Short History Of Nearly Everything, of course the thing he dropped is much bigger than a colony: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=end49u7dVrw http://www.rulit.net/books/a-short-history-of-nearly-everything-read-148491-...

Everyone seems to have missed the fact that some putz necromanced the thread after nearly a full 2 years. Without good cause, that tends to get the thread locked and I no longer know what happens to the guy that revived it, but it can't be good. tl,dr: You all got trolled. He's got a proper name, b...

Re: Stuff You Can't Believe You Just Figured Out

So of course, I pride myself for being knowledgeable about Gundam Wing. But one thing that always stuck out to me was the Leo's "space cannon" as I called it, which is basically the After Colony's most obscure weapon. We know basically nothing about it, but if you've watched Wing you know...

Re: Stuff You Can't Believe You Just Figured Out

I just realized that the names of Red Frame's swords, Gerbera Straight and Tiger Pierce, are literal translations of Kikuichimonji (菊一文字) and Kotetsu (虎徹), the names of two legendary Japanese swordsmiths. They are quite good for straight translations. Though, I'd like to see someone build a Gebera ...

Re: stunning MS and stopping power

As a court-qualified exterior ballistics expert, let me suggest a new angle for this discussion. Obviously, the small caliber projectiles from head-mounted guns would not have a stunning effect on a massive mobile suit (their value would be in penetration of the suit exterior), but the larger proje...

Does anybody else appreciate Takao's current role? :) The progress of the Mental Models towards understanding & acting like humans has been much acceleraed compared to the manga, but I don't mind a bit. They are all coming along to some extent. You know what, I wanted to give any of the Fog men...

I wonder why the Iowa and Delaware classes are used since the Fog seem to be composed of warships that were sunk/destroyed/lost in WWII.
The production thought we won't complain about it.
