And this week's episode pretty much opens up the all-you-can-eat buffet for his ego. Episodes like this make the b*tch slappings he gets from Kira and Athrun later on all the more tasty.

I'm quite impressed how much they reanimated or reused Special edition footage for this week's episode.

The original series isn't getting a remaster. It had one back in 2007(?). It's getting a Blu-ray boxset this year, however.

Will others get one? Dunno. Depends on demand.

Episode 22 is out. Usual round of clean-ups to the action.

Episode 19 is out. Besides a round of clean-ups, there's no changes.

Next week: Episode 20 is however, still in there and it's a flashback episode/clip show. And there's only one section of next week's episode that really adds any value to the upcoming episodes.

That said, I'm not saying it's impossible that they are waiting for the remaster to finish and still make a sequel in 2015. Of course, they could also not be planning any sequel at this point. Or if a movie is in the works, maybe they weren't ready to announce it during that last press announcement.

The remaster will end just as they're in the middle of the 35th anniversary and a Destiny sequel wasn't mentioned as part of the new shows for the anniversary. So if there is any planned sequel, movie or otherwise, it probably won't be announced/shown until 2016, at the earliest. IIRC, they didn't ...

I'm trying to figure out the whole point of this Destiny Remaster broadcast. It's really not adding or changing even as much as SEED HD, as far as I can tell. Or am I just not seeing it? I honestly can't tell what scenes if any have been remastered beyond everything being zoomed in to make it wide screen since this was apparently never animated with any cut off for future re-releases. The house raid seemed to have to most reanimated scenes. You can tell when Kira, Lacus, or Murrue ...

I wish they reanimated entire scenes rather than what parts they did. The back-&-forth look between the old animation and the reanimated scenes is annoying.

Looks like Orb (Sunrise) realized Perfect Strike was a good idea and made a single pack for it. I just hope they use this as Rouge's default pack and re-animate all the scenes with this thing.

Ep 12 is out. I really wish they would just redo the subs instead of using the DVD ripped subs. Oh and we have a new ending theme.
