Ok then, we've been through the Dinobots, now what about the Constructicons? If they're going to debut in the next movie, i see problems with that since Bonecrusher is a part of that gang and he's already got head-capped by Optimus. There are six Constructicons total, though. It wouldn't be too muc...

Here's the thing, though. I'm not saying they shouldn't have had any sort of military angle at all, I'm saying they overdid it to the point that it superceded the Transformers themselves in overall importance far too many times. When half of the Prime/Megatron duel is not shown on screen because Bay...

Having finally seen the movie, I'd honestly give it a B or something thereabout, mostly because it bounced between two extremes depending who was on-screen. When the focus of the movie was on the Transformers themselves, and when it actually got serious and focused on the plot, it was an incredible ...

And why are these on your list? You gotta give us some insight into your rationale, otherwise it's just a bunch of random names from random shows, which doesn't really warrant any sort of decent thread.

Seeing as Grimlock will be in the new cartoon, that would mean the chance of doing an intro on the Dinobots in the 2nd movie is not probable. The new cartoon is not the same continuity as the movies, as I understand it. It's a cash-in on the movie's popularity, but it won't be connected in any real...

I imagine being as geared towards "realism" as Bay is, that may end up working to his advantage in averaging out the Dinobots. With the exception of the sauropod Dinobot, Sludge, all of them were scaled up much larger than their actual dinosaur counterparts, so some more accurate Dinobots would like...

I always figured Wing's little canisters were actually disposable battery packs (one shot, one use, etc.), and that the RX-79[G]'s beam rifle was actually emitting an energy charge of some sort from a damaged battery pack or some other piece of equipment when it got split in half. The reason the rif...

If it's a Voltron movie, it's a pretty crappy approach to one, akin to how far removed Tristar's Godzilla was to the original Toho creation. Filming the entire film from the perspective of frat kids with camcorders won't tell us jack about any of Voltron's plot, and certainly won't be a way to devel...

So you just started this thread to randomly ask about any random robot-related manga that may be coming out at any random time in the next five and a half months? There's no specific series you're asking about, and there's not even a focused topic of discussion, you're just asking about any random r...

Actually, having Soundwave made from a big pile of amps and recording studio equipment is the best idea I've heard yet that evades the whole mass issue. Kudos. 8)

Dude, relax . Relax about what? What makes you think I'm getting worked up about anything (other than being mildly insulted right now by your quoted remark)? I was merely stating an opinion; I didn't realize my opinions all came in raging hissy fits. I simply said that I think the only way the film...

but the question beckons, what could soundwave be? Really, as someone who understands the whole "mass shifting" gripe and wouldn't be opposed to some slight changes in some of the other Transformers, I think the only way they're ever going to do Soundwave justice is to grin & bear it, and just have...

I'm not totally sure how they'll pull off Dinobots...giant metal dinosaurs don't exactly scream "disguise". And even if they went with organic, BW-esque Dinobots, they are STILL extinct organisms. If they do Dinobots, I hope they don't do the whole "stupid cuz they're dinosaurs" thing. That never m...

If it went to Adult Swim, it would be uncut. You're thinking of Toonami.

Unfortunately it's Bandai Visual, meaning we'll be getting glaringly average quality releases at $40 per two-episode volume. Personally, I'm sick of BV's crap, and the fact that they're now becoming Bandai's means of releasing Gundam in this country just irritates me and makes me not want to support...

To be blunt, if all you want is brainless action with no romance at all, you're best just staying away from Gundam completely. Without exception (and even though a good number of them do it terribly), every Gundam series is focused primarily on building character development, be it through romance, ...

I still don't know what to say. I mean, I gave up on pro wrestling long ago because it just got too stupid, but Benoit was always one of the guys whose career I continued to follow even after saying fie on WWF and NWA/TNA (and what ragged scraps of WCW and ECW's corpses remained). He was one of the ...
