Re: Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2

I'm wondering if it will be a sequel to the first one, or if they're going to rehash the plot but with more breadth. Either way would be fine with me.

Re: BF-MSV

It works for players wanting to tailor their suits for various environments however, I'm pretty sure most of the time you're not going to know where you'll be fighting until the match begins.

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk

it's just that either he thinks that Carta, Gaelio, and the like would oppose his reforms so have to be removed preemptively, or else getting rid of them is the only way for him to get the authority he needs to enact his reforms in the first place. I believe his monologue to Gaelio spelled out that...

Re: Gundam Breaker 3: Updates and Discussion

1.03 is like Manna from Heaven, it very nearly cut some of the mission times in half for me, much smoother experience now.

Crossing my fingers that they do the DLC like the previous entries. Strangely I'm hoping for more builders parts as much as I am mobile suits, possibly more.

Re: Gundam Breaker 3: Updates and Discussion

I haven't had as much time to play so I've only recently gotten to chapter 4 and I have to admit, I hope they nerf the "Enemy Player's" hit points or defense. They just take far too long (at least on standard difficulty) for my taste, it's to the point now where when I see the warning come up on scr...

Having gotten the MSG blurays for Christmas I can also confirm that they do look noticeably better. I can't quite put it in to words but it's more crisp, or sharp I guess.

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk

Wild fight this time. My heart wants this series to go beyond 25 eps, but my brain is telling me it probably won't. After this episode I've taken to calling Ein's new ride the Psyco Graze.

Re: Gundam Breaker 3: Updates and Discussion

Quick new tidbit:
It seems going into free aim mode provides a bonus to damage. I'm not sure if it's an ability or specific to weapon types, but it works with the Zudah sniper rifle I have, but doesn't seem to with the Alex's rifle.

Re: Gundam Breaker 3: Updates and Discussion

Thoughts on Breaker 3: - The curbstomp/finisher has been substantially upgraded. Doing either ludicrous damage or simply being an outright kill. - The Titus Arms' combo attack is very good at breaking enemy parts. See point 1. - All guns can lock on or free aim, no more being forced with snipers or ...

Re: Gundam Breaker 3: Updates and Discussion

Had I heard about it sooner I would probably have held out for the english version also. As of now, however, my hype is in its terminal phase and, I just couldn't wait the extra 3-4 months. I might get a digital copy one day if it's cheap, and if hell froze and an NA release happened I would obvious...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk

I liked the episode but, unless he miraculously survives I kind of feel like Ein didn't get much growth as he could have. Also, Mars only has 37% of Earth's gravity. I'll suspend my disbelief but Tekkadan should be constantly pooping themselves in what essentially is a 3G environment  I exp...

Re: Gundam Breaker 3: Updates and Discussion

I'm not that disappointed in the roster, between getting everything tweaked for PS4 and then adding the new parts system it does make some sense. They did tell us we would be getting 20ish new suits so at least they were up front about it. I'll hold out on calling it a "2.2" until I hear about other...

Re: Gundam Breaker 3: Updates and Discussion

I've never really had a problem with AOZ's MS designs in and of themselves. They just fell far, far too advanced looking for the time frame in which they appear. I have always wondered about this image however. None of AOZ's designs seem to use this crest in their actual designs and I don't know the...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk

NOO OOO OOO! :( Overall a strong, impactful episode. As much as I love me some mech battles I appreciate that IBO doesn't stuff them in just to fill quota. Whether the series does well or not I think they went down the right path on that decision. Also, between the second opening and the model kit ...

Re: Gundam Breaker 3: Updates and Discussion

New article on Siliconera.
Screenshots of the characters and recently announced Gunplas. Some of the screens make me think that one-on-one fights will be more of a thing in 3, wonder how they'll balance that.

Re: Gundam Breaker 3: Updates and Discussion

^ Well, I kinda meant from my personal opinion but, yes, that is a pretty thorough listing of the series flaws to date. It'd be pretty cool if you can add spikes to your Gunpla's knuckles. I wouldn't expect it to have a gameplay effect, but it'd look cool. Or you could put them on the Juagg's "hands...

Re: Gundam Breaker 3: Updates and Discussion

This time we're making it with considering the "long time play" point [replay value]. We looked back at the good and bad points of GB2 & GB1, so this game will undergo a new evolution. I'm happy about this comment. My biggest (only?) complaint about the previous Breakers was the lack of replay, out...

A Siliconera article also shows a picture of the Sumo.
Bounty mode sounds neat-o, I just hope it doesn't involve jumping through extra hopes like posting pictures did in the previous.

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk

Surprised to see that the Graze had clawed feet at some point. I kind of like it for some reason; part of me hopes that maybe it'll show up in a variation or something.
