Re: Rematch! Rewatching G Gundam
I thought it was established that when DG2099 starts trying to make a thread about himself we're supposed to just ignore him.

Re: New 08th MS Team Short Film
One wonders if the short film will be able to live up to 08th's high standards on terrible characters, plodding faux-"realistic" combat (I. AM. INVINCIBALL!), and meandering plotlines.

They're just recolors so they can scale up the strength of your enemies.

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Third Generation
How strong was it compared to the Dorado? Game doesn't offer a good way to judge this. Was it an enemy that only appeared in a particular stage, for example, at the colony where Techno Solon was located at? No, they're all over the damn place once Asemu joins the Diva. Any particular skill or weapo...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Third Generation
Homeless, would you happen to know anything about those new Vagan MS from the PSP game (such as what era did they first appeared on in the game): Abigel (seems to be based on the Dorado) Dielga (I get a worker machine vibe from this one) Egoz (a commander/X-rounder unit?) Gould (seems to be based o...

It's just a pointless recolor for the sake of a pointless recolor. They were pretty desperate when thinking up password exclusive unlocks.Gelgoog Jager wrote:And just out of curiosity, does anyone know anything about the Wise Ghiraga?

It is essentially a Core Fighter like the Xamdrag's. it just wasn't utilized in the anime.

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Anime Thread AGE-8
As far as I understood the ending of the PSP game when I played through, Chris' quote is incorrect. If Kio had just used the burst mode to take out La Gramis at the beginning then everything would have ended peachy, but that didn't happen. Yeah, Kio didn't rush through the entire Vagan military to t...

Re: AoZ: The Traitor to Destiny Mechanics
Although equipped with psycho wave equipment (shaman frame), in order to operate at full spec, it has to maintain a distance of approximately 10,000 meters from the Hati and has to maintain a mutual link with the system. So does this mean the Skoll controls the Hati, the Hati enhances the Skoll, or...

The AGE-1 was so badly outclassed that it lost appendages to the Xamdrag's vulcans.

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Anime Thread AGE-7
^At this point it is more close to worse and if the ending does end up being anticlimactic I will bring out my Ultraman series comparison and say "told you so!" If I am right, look on the bright side, we'll get a gundam equivalent to Nexus! Why not just do so now? Like most people trying to compare...

I know Gundam fans see what they want to see, but this is pretty awe-inspiring.DuelGundam2099 wrote:It's probably the tail that makes it look like a Satellite Cannon. There is also some odd resemblance to Zephyranthes Gundam to me now that I think of it.

Zeheart waking up naked from a capsule and then getting in a tub made you think of the Sinanju? Dare I ask why?AGE had no originality with Zeheart: from the moment I saw his debut, I said "Hmm...this reeks Full Frontal in Sinanju".

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Thread Mk V
X getting cancelled has never struck me as a big surprise, network shenanigans or not. It has a few great characters and some neat mecha designs, but it is truly a mess of a series. It never really seemed to take real advantage of the setting it had crafted, the plot often felt obnoxiously aimless, ...
