Re: MECHWARRIOR LIVING LEGENDS LIVES AGAIN!
MWLL has reached version 0.9.1 as of last week with a very large update. Trailer! (disregard the 0.8.7 number) New playable assets: Inner Sphere Argus 60 ton heavy battlemech, Inner sphere Rommel 65 ton heavy battle tank, Inner sphere Regulator 45 ton medium hovercraft, and last but not least the Cl...

Re: Star Wars Rogue One
Saw it last weekend, wasn't terribly impressed. The female leads in the force awakens and rogue one look and sound so similar it doesn't surprise me at all that the ending was rewritten to dispel rumors of some sort of relationship or kinship between the two.

Re: Mechwarrior Living Legends
MECHWARRIOR LIVING LEGENDS LIVES AGAIN For the first time in nearly four years since I last necro-d this thread, MWLL has recieved an update. All of the old developers having moved on, the community took it upon itself to resume work on the award-winning total conversion mod for Crysis Wars. The up...

Re: Female Final Boss
Nashandra from Dark souls 2, Zinaida/Fascinator from one of the endings in Armored core last raven, just to name a couple off the top of my head.
(Yes I know Aldia comes after Nashandra if you killed Vendrick earlier in the game, but killing Aldia is optional for completing the game)

Re: The Official (?) Mecha Talk Sports Thread
Hopefully the start of the Indianapolis gran prix isn't a complete fiasco like last year, seems like they gave up on the idea of standing starts though since they didn't do it at long beach. Totally forgot the Spa Francorchamps sports car race was this weekend, I turned it on just in time to see the...

Re: The Official (?) Mecha Talk Sports Thread
I watched the Daytona 500 to test my interest in Nascar and it served as a pretty good reminder as to why I stopped following the series - bogus full course cautions and red flags for the sake of keeping the field bunched up. The first two races of the Tudor series have been great to watch, all the ...

Re: The Official (?) Mecha Talk Sports Thread
Any interest for motorsports here? I've started following a few series again this season for the first time in a few years, mainly F1, Indycar, and Tudor.

Re: Mechwarrior Online
I'm not here to troll or flame, only to voice my opinion, and MWO has never cheated me out of anything except maybe a catapult I lost during closed alpha when the servers got wiped for a large update. Additionally, if you'd bothered to use the search function or do 30 seconds' worth of digging throu...

Re: Mechwarrior Online
People take issue with the gold mech skins and their price because PGI asking those kinds of prices for that kind of thing shows that the only thing they care about is lining their own pockets. They don't care about making a game that lives up to the quality of previous titles in the franchise, they...

Re: Mechwarrior Online
I admit I haven't played hawken recently so I'm in the dark regarding whatever the developers are currently doing with that game, but when I did play it I had a hell of a lot more fun with that than I ever had with MWO. There's no way you're going to convince anybody with their head on straight that...

Re: Mechwarrior Online
There doesn't seem to be much interest in Mechwarrior amongst the members of this forum from what I've seen. Back in the day I advertised Mechwarrior Living Legends and even bought several copies of Crysis Wars to give away to anybody who was interested. I think I only ended up giving only a single ...

Re: The Official Gundam The Origin Anime Thread Mk I
I don't keep up with releases much nowadays, so I was surprised to hear origin actually got green-lit and that the first episode was out already. I tracked it down and watched it, and I enjoyed it for the most part. The CGI looked decent enough, but I didn't like how fast-paced the action was. OYW e...

Re: The Otaku at Work
I tend not to talk about my interests too much while at work. At best I'll give a vague "I watched that kind of stuff on cartoon network when I was a kid" answer if someone brings it up. Funny story, I used to have a coworker who never quit talking, this old southern guy would always be go...

Re: Do you watch Mecha anime with your parents?
The only anime I've ever shared with any relatives was Gundam 0080, which I watched with my father earlier this year. Prior to last summer, I'd hardly spoken a word to my father in nearly 5 years, and I decided to finally get back in touch. We hung out, got drunk and caught up and now everything's c...

Work on a Pacific Rim sequel film and an animated show have been confirmed by none other than Guillermo del Toro himself.

I gave the episodes on netflix a watch, I thought it was pretty good. The visuals were pretty different than anything I've seen in a while, but I liked the look.

Re: Godzilla 2014
I don't have anything against character driven stories, provided that the characters are interesting.
