I would actually love if they would go back to the original Macross and bring on Mari Ijima but that's highly unlikely they'll probably get someone young. Also I hope it's like Zero because Zero had a dark theme to it also a tribalistic feel it was fast paced and it had a good story I loved it.

I remember Macross Zero having alot of action in it and that was by Shoji Kawamori.

How is the series since I just got it from rightstuf they should be shipping it tomorrow. The cover art does look beautiful. I just hope Sunrise did a good job in porting it over from the R2 DVD's I assume there getting it from the DVD's.

Yeah I've seen some of the series you mentioned. I remember Gasaraki, Eva 1.11 and 2.22, Macross Plus, and a bit of Code Geass. What got me into anime and mecha was Eva.

I would go with Symphogear however it seems to have ecchi in it which turns me off. Anything else you want to recommend to me I could watch a series like Argevollen or M3. Well I can say I did enjoy and it is one of my favorite series is RahXephon. However it is a fairly slow series though. However something within that spectrum. I love the mecha designs from the show they give a very egyptian esque feel to them sorta like ZOE.
