Re: Obscure Mecha Refernces?

I feel like this is somewhat the wrong direction for "Obscure Mecha References", but in one of the pictures in the following link, doesn't there appear to be a very familar mech?

Re: Just found Bloody Dog from VOTOMS Case;IRVINE

I know that you're working on VOTOMS-related stuff at the moment, but have you been able to find stuff for the Pailsen Files series of OVAs, like the Scopedog TC-ISS model for example?

Re: Gundam Thunderbolt Timeline?

Wouldn't they just need to buy Dai Nippon Kaiga in order to fix that problem?

Uh, did that producer say that all of Thunderbolt is a "parallel world story", or just the ONA?

Apparently you and everybody else has different definitions of "fleshed-out content" and "attention to detail".

Re: Fanmade mecha TBS game

Honestly Freighttrain from what I've seen of your "work" elsewhere, you tend to overcomplicate everything you decide to get yourself involved with.

Super Robot Discussion?

So, what's this forum's policy or ruling on discussing Super Robot shows, like say the new Getter Robo Arc anime that's out right now?

Re: The Official Gundam Hathaway Mecha Thread Mk I

Honestly, I don't think the Earth and Mars branches of Zeon were on speaking terms by the time the former died off and given how new groups like Mafty rose up, everyone probably forgot about the situation on Mars until it was too late.

Re: The Official Gundam Hathaway Mecha Thread Mk I

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised that besides anybody from any version of Zeon who's still alive and too stuck within the EF or similar organizations the only Zeon supporters and leaders left would be geezers like Bakhavor who are too well connected to get thrown out and have plenty of personal powe...

Re: Obscure Gundam Wing Weaponry & Equipment

I have to admit that there are times that toy-only gimmicks are pretty interesting. Take the latest MG Alex for instance: Not only does it get a sensor mask, but both the shield and the forearm Chobam Armor can open up so that the forearm gatling guns aren't blocked off like in canon.

Re: Obscure Gundam Wing Weaponry & Equipment

Huh, out of idle curiosity, did either SRW or G Generation use any of the new weapons for any entries featuring Double X?

Re: Obscure Gundam Wing Weaponry & Equipment

So what toy-only stuff came with the 90s model kits of the Gundam Wing and X shows?

Just out of curiosity, what other reviews did this site remove besides the SD Gundam ones?

Re: Opinions on non-UC spinoff material

Let me guess the initial advantages and disadvantages of each series (before you actually read each entry and figure out what they're really are like beneath all the hype): Crossbone has interesting mecha designs, but has trouble drawing humans besides defaulting to a few standard designs while Astr...

Re: How many units were in the G-Project?

...whoever said I looked highly upon original Astray, or original Crossbone for that matter? EDIT: And now I feel like this is moving further and further away from the original point of this thread, so let's just stop this train of thought here and take it up in another more appropriate thread anoth...

Opinions on non-UC spinoff material

I was inspired by a couple recent posts and I was just wondering what are the various opinions on this site about any and all non-UC spinoff material?

To be more specific, I'm talking about stuff like SEED Astray, Glory of Losers, Under the Moonlight, 00I, etc.

Re: How many units were in the G-Project?

...huh, and here I thought original Astray was critic-proof or something. Also, I knew I wasn't the only one who thought the subseries as a whole went sideways after the last Strike vs Aegis battle. Anyway, counting actual Gundams and not remakes/MP models, I also go along with the viewpoint of ther...

New Crossbone Info

Don't know how this site feels about Zeonic Scanlations, but here are two new entries that provide a long interview with Hasegawa and the original draft of Crossbone Gundam, courtesy of the translated portions from the new Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam Mechanic Setting Collection that's been released...
