I've tossed around the idea of showing my folks GiTS SAC as an intro to anime but I do kind of want them to see Gundam The Origin's OVAs or Unicorn. My dad likes police drama so I was thinking of Patlabor too.

I just hope they at least get cleaned up video even if they gotta go the DVD route. G Gundam's old Bandai release is kinda crusty looking and would at least look better with the video cleaned a little.
