I just picked up the F91 and the Harrison Martin recolor.....I definitely see what you guys were saying about the F91 being smaller. I never realized it was so much smaller than suits from other series.
On the plus side, the kit was only 15 bucks! Beautiful kit

Re: Builder Parts Hands for RG?
Yeah, I bought the 144th pack. A bit disappointed with how they look on the RG RX-78-2....they are gigantic!

Re: RGM-79 (Ground Type) from RX-78 Gundam (Ground Type)
The head is real easy. The Ground War box comes with two GM heads, so no work needed there. After I posted this, I realized the front skirt is off. The Gundam GT is a little more ornate while the GM GT is pretty much just flat. I have one of the old GM snipers and the skirt itself looks the same, it...

RGM-79 (Ground Type) from RX-78 Gundam (Ground Type)
Hey Gundpla builders! I have a thing for the mecha from 08th MS Team, and as a HG builder I have few options for the Federated forces so I am thinking of scratch building/kit bashing. I have the Ez8 and a Rx-78 Ground Type from the Ground War set. I would love to add a GM and maybe even a Sniper, bu...

RG GP01 Full Burnern Head issues
Has anyone else had fit troubles with the head on the GP01 real grade kits? I am finishing up the Full Burnern kit and have just the head to finish. I am having a really difficult time with the head, and had the same problem getting the halves of the head to fit together on the Zephyranthes as well....

G-Defenser in RG?
OK, so we have seen the Sky Grasper in RG to add packs to the Aile Strike.
Do you think we would ever see a G-Defenser in RG to add onto the Mk II to create the RX-178+FXA-05D Super Gundam?

Re: painting poly caps
I found Duplicolor Vinyl and Fabric paint. It is a rattle can, spray it on the runner of poly caps and let it set for 24 hours. No flaking, no cracking.....it can be scraped off, but it took a lot of pressure with an xacto blade. The trouble is it only comes in a few colors. But I've found you can u...

Re: Replacing Broken Parts - Looking for particular parts!
I found an old thread on Hobby Fanatics about ordering parts.... Basically, you take a picture of the broken part (or the sprue with the missing part), send an email to bandaiactionkits@bandai.co.jp with the kit name sprue and part number and attach the picture, and your shipping info. Then you shou...

So Bandai is no longer doing their replacement part service?
You used to be able to email [email protected] longer the case?

Builder Parts Hands for RG?
Hey all, I have built a few RG kits, and recently built the RX-78-2 and I'm really disappointed with the hands. The model is too fragile as it is to repose, then add the weapons keep falling out of the hands because the articulated hands....it's just a lesson in frustration. I have a few of the Buil...

painting poly caps
Hey gang, I went and picked up another 144th Astray Red Frame and plan to repaint it into Gold Frame. I've already painted most of the frame gold and I am really happy with the way it's turning out. However.....those red poly caps.....how on earth am I going to paint them? Everytime I have painted o...

Re: MG transformables....any better these days?
I just built the RG Zeta.....it was my first transformable mobile suit....and my last.
The compromises needed to make it transformable completely ruin the model. Joints are too loose, the model will be posed and after a day or two will topple over because the torso starts to lean backwards..

Apparently their priority list is making sure every mecha that has a second worth of screen time in Unicorn gets a model.

Gundam Astray Gold Frame
I recently discovered this cool little variation of Seed and went on a mission to get the different colored Frame mobile suits in HG Seed 144th. I found the Red Frame, Blue Frame (standard), Green Frame....but nothing for the Gold Frame. I'm I just missing something, or did they not do a Gold Frame ...
