Re: Cross Ange- New Sunrise x Fukuda mecha show
The Director wasn't sure but the Series Writer wanted to keep Tusk around and the producers took a vote from there. Heh, still got a laugh at being trolled though. Atleast they recognized the troll-ness in the Preview. I do have to agree with Fukuda that explaination would be hard, so short version/...

Re: The Official Gundam Reconguista Anime Thread Mk II
So I decided to sit down and marathon this show and... it's pretty much a joke. There are so many issues with this show it's hard to tell where to begin: - Classic 'kid magically knows how to pilot a super powerful suit' (aren't we don't with this yet?) - Classic 'main suit has hax abilities that p...

Re: Build Fighters Try or Reconguista In G- Which do you pre
Back on topic I prefer Try right now. Simple yes but it has been effectively entertaining every single week. G-Reco shows Tomino style which is a real hit or miss, speaking as someone who has seen several of his shows in and out of Gundam. G-Reco is currently 10 episodes in and I hardly care for the...

Re: Buddy Complex
Like FireyBlitz said not an "ambitious" show but it was entertaining if predictable on some fronts. It was rushed but still wrapped itself up nicely. I'm surprised that I feel the show was more "complete" than some shows that have 50+ episodes. I'm also surprised I didn't predict...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Anime Thread Mk VI
I agree with Blues this pushed the Newtype stuff to the brink. Still fun. FA Unicorn got mostly scrapped by Banshee Norn, that said Banagher did NOT want to seriously fight Riddhe. Once Banagher intercepted the Zeon Forces he cut lose with really only the leg grenades and shields left, that was cool...

The first 7-Min trailer says May 17. That will be one heck of a weekend you got Godzilla 2014 on Friday and Gundam Unicorn on Saturday.Andrew_Graruru wrote:Do we know when the streaming will be? For the other volumes it was the same date at theatrical screenings but the PV's just say that it's coming soon.

Re: Nobunaga The Fool Thread
It was a joke. I do wonder if Lancelot and co actually existed, though. If they did, were they supplanted by the current Round Table? Arthur himself looks and acts more like a Merlin(Wizard) type character than the Warrior we hear about in Fiction. Episode 15: Jeanne is going to go nuts by the end ...

Re: Nobunaga The Fool Thread
Episode 14: For all of the hate Ceaser has garnered the scene between him and Ichihime was charming. Not to mention he has a Big D. Heros moment at the end. Jeanne is apparently going to get a bit of a focus arc with the way episode 14 ended. She may have learned how to handle herself in a mech braw...

Re: New Mecha Anime From BONES- Captain Earth
First two episodes were pretty good. The first ones ending kind of threw me, but episode two cleared that up. The gun, Livelaster, may be a lifeform that was influncing Daichi a bit to pilot the the Earth Engine. Daichi also seems to have a handle on the Livelaster, teleporting it from a safe and us...

Re: Buddy Complex - New Sunrise Mecha Show
I interpreted "sepia mode" as Aoba seeing Hina's memories like he did with Dio. Not him "imaganing" anything. But how would he get a dose of Hina's erased memories? I'm not saying it wouldn't be possible, but that'd be like getting a clear, full video off a hard drive after the ...

Re: Buddy Complex - New Sunrise Mecha Show
Upon thinking about the episode, I noticed something that I did not fully capitalize on that would make this twist actually NOT a last-minute thought, but in fact a hidden hint at something entirely different. Following is obviously speculation built on grounded observations, read at your own peril...

Re: Buddy Complex - New Sunrise Mecha Show
This show has mixed up a BUNCH of stuff about time travel, which in and of itself is a weird mechanic for a mecha series I have only seen done twice in the genre E7AO and this. Because of the ending there are now a lot of theories and stuff we can poke at with the time travel mechanic. Hina's age re...

http://www.moetron.com/uploads/20140330_complex02_resize.jpg That end card, those characters. I think we're going to be seeing some weird Back to the Future stuff soon. The characters along with Aoba, Hina, and Dio are the MCs for the Buddy Complex Smartphone game. There is a commercial with them i...

Re: Buddy Complex - New Sunrise Mecha Show
That was weird but I can tell that the enemy commander was poking at the show itself. He was using terms like BGM, character, and even used Sunrise's name at one point.Compass wrote:

Re: Buddy Complex - New Sunrise Mecha Show
Splitting the season has several reasonings behind them. Sunrise started it with Gundam 00 and their stated reason for doing so is the break would allow them to amass more budget from merchandise sales. Like Valvrave, I think Buddy Complex is in the same boat. It was always intended to have 26 epis...

Re: Buddy Complex - New Sunrise Mecha Show
It's the times. Studios would rather run a safe 12 episode season and see how it goes rather than promise 25 episodes and the show be a flop in the first half. Properties like Gundam, Macross, and adaptions of other popular media stand the best chances of selling. Original projects are risky experim...

Re: Running out of Budget/Time for Anime Prod(Wizard Barrist
When you consider this episode look at the last two Magi: Kingdom of Magic episodes as well. Magi's producers have already announced that the last episode will be delayed so they can work on it. Heck, the even delayed episode 24 from Sunday to Tuesday. So some studios have some pull to get extra time.
