Re: Source for some 00 technical info scans?

It's a subtle distinction, but interfering with electrical equipment in general which doesn't involve wireless communication =/= interfering with RADAR or other EMW transmissions etc, which is the one thing that this specific source states that interested me. We see the latter in literally the first...

Re: Source for some 00 technical info scans?

Found a source! Gundam Perfect File issue 42, someone supplied full scans to the Gundam Wiki of the pages.

Source for some 00 technical info scans?

I came across some interesting scans while looking for something unrelated, on this Facebook group. They seem to be scans of a model kit manual or some kind of fanbook/mook, but it isn't any of the model kits I could find scans of on Dalong.net, nor is it any of the 00 Mechanics books nor G-Rooms. T...

Re: UC Moble suits and lasers

Hasn't it been said before that most funnel weapons mount lasers, rather than proper beam weaponry? This is the first I've heard of this and considering I've never seen anything on a UC remote not listed as a "Beam" something I doubt this little tidbit. As a friend of mine and I were disc...

Re: My Ongoing Modeling Questions Thread

Do I really have to cut the wires of the bulbs and circuit boxes to the specified measurements? What's that small piece of paper packaged with the circuit boxes and magnets? Are you able to get the batteries needed by the kit offline? Unfortunately mine are in storage, and I made them years ago (be...

Re: size that matters...

If it's variety, 1/144 is the way to go, since that also includes things like the EX-models, LM kits, as well as a wide range of B-club resins et al... And I say that as a guy hardcore committed to 1/100. :)

Re: My Ongoing Modeling Questions Thread

I have a few HY2M kits (most notably the chromed one for the MG Nu), and they're pretty cool. What do you want to know? And it depends on the brand. Where I come from, milliput is sold in hardware stores... but generally speaking I don't find the "roll" kind as useful as separated two-part...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk III

FYI, it's not Chi. It's Delta Gundam Kai. I don't know where this "Chi" comes from. Isn't it the victim of a terrible pun? The X in the model name is "Chi," pronounced the Greek way reads as "Kai", so it's transliterated that way in Katakana. Edit: Derp, romanised? Not...

And is this real?
"Rough picture, fan cleanup kanjikanjikanji.". So, sort of. It's not a million miles away from the images we've seen of toys etc by now.

Ah, thanks. Don't spend as much time in C-town as I used to, but I will check it out next time I get a chance.

Re: Member Introduction Thread Mk IV

Could have sworn I had an account here already, but I guess not. Big Gundam fan, and of mecha stuff in general. A couple of my friends from other boards are on here, and I just signed up again to chip in on some of the discussions.

Re: UC Moble suits and lasers

Just to add some fuel to the fire here, IIRC the Hyaku Shiki Kai has pulse lasers in lieu of Vulcans. Perhaps it's to act like CIWS for intercepting missiles rather than Mobile Suits?
