Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk
This episode was okay. Nothing bad, but nothing amazing either. For a first episode it comes across as too infodumpy. I don't mind info dumps as long as they're interesting, but I can't help but shake the feeling that with everyone complaining about G-Reco being "hard to understand" they'r...

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XII
Bandai has been making alot of dumb decisions when it comes to what should be available retail or online. MG Banshee Norn, HG Crossbone X1-Kai, HG X2-Kai, MG Tallgeese II & III, MG EW Altron, etc., I'm almost convinced they have a list of kits placed on a dart board, and randomly throw darts lab...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk
Guess I was wrong about it being a fantasy series. Still it looks very interesting. Definitely gonna check this out. Though I wonder if this will be a 50 episode series or a 25-26 episode show.

Re: Next possible Gundam anime teased
Definitely getting some fantasy vibes from both the mech design and name. If it is, then sweet, it's about time. I've always wanted to see a fantasy-themed Gundam series. I can't wait to witness the fanboy rage.

Octave is a good yuri manga. It was completed not too long ago, and is somewhat similar to Prism.

Well one of the recent animated shorts in the GFT center showed the Phenex fighting against the G-Self and G-Arcane, so who knows.

Thank god it's over. This episode was fun admittedly, but not enough to redeem this series. Cameos were awesome as usual. Hopefully we'll at least get an HGUC Xi Gundam out of this.

Not a bad final battle but still no where near as awesome as the final battle from season 1.

Re: The Official Gundam The Origin Anime Thread Mk I
A look at Disney TV & Nickelodeon programming by contrast shows just how dumbed-down the characterization for children has gotten in the USA. Batman The Animated Series, Spectacular Spider-Man, Young Justice, Gargoyles, Justice League, Avatar, and Legend of Korra would like to have a word with ...

Re: The Official Gundam Build Fighters Try Anime Thread Mk-I
Maybe it's just expectations. But I wasn't exactly enthralled by Wilfried talking about how awesome and powerful Lucas is while he's running away from them. Also I wouldn't call getting damaged on the shoulder a critical hit (looking at you Shia).

Re: The Official Gundam Build Fighters Try Anime Thread Mk-I
I'm really losing my patience with this show. After building up Lucas as a complete badass last week, this is the result? Spending most of the episode running away?! Would it have been so hard to simply have him wreck Shia and Saga? It would at least add some excitement and drama. Then have Wilfried...

Re: The Official Gundam Build Fighters Try Anime Thread Mk-I
The biggest problem with this series for me has been its pacing. All the needless exposition and constant reiterating of...well...everything in past episodes gives me this uneasy feeling that the show was being rushed. Now that we have half a recap, I'm starting to believe that to be more true. Also...

Re: The Official Gundam Build Fighters Try Anime Thread Mk I
Okay, can I just say I am so sick of the dialogue in this show? This has been a recurring problem for a while but I'm getting really tired of characters not only constantly pointing out the blatantly obvious, but constantly reiterating everything. I know it's a kid show, but the dialogue is nothing ...

Re: The Official Gundam Build Fighters Try Anime Thread Mk I
I gotta admit, while I don't hate this episode (and I've been somewhat forgiving towards this series), this is probably my least favorite episode so far. That massive exposition dump upon meeting Team White Wolf went on way too long, it almost felt like filler. I'm starting to get annoyed with Sekai...

Re: Legend of Korra Book 4 Finale
I think people have been mixed on Korra as a whole. I think it's overall a good series. Not as good as Avatar, but good in its own right. For me it goes like this: -Book 1: Really good up until the very end. -Book 2: Ended strongly but quality was very uneven throughout. -Book 3: Managed to recover ...
