Re: The Jegan A-Type's long beam rifle, and some ramblings about the Jegan line.

So the most likely scenario is the the Jeddah's rifle came first, then the Jegan A-Type's, and then finally the standard Jegan's beam rifle. It is also possible for Jegan A-Type's beam rifle to come later, as an improved model of the one used by Vasuki/Yazan Gable's GM III Night Seeker but retainin...

Re: The Jegan A-Type's long beam rifle, and some ramblings about the Jegan line.

3. What is the justification for the shift from the Stark Jegan to the Jegan B-Type? The Stark Jegan and Jegan B-type actually have different roles/purpose, so there might not have been a shift as you assumed. The Stark Jegan is said to be for anti-ship assault as per the HGUC manual, while the Gun...

The 1/144 HGAC Wing Gundam model kit manual (in the manual's MS profile text, not the Buster Rifle text) did note that it is possible to adjust the Buster Rifle's output to vary the attack area, but it did not say if doing so affect the number of shots.

Are you sure that it is arm-mounted in GBO2? The video i have seen have the beam saber stored on the rear skirt.

Re: Uses of mecha technologies outside of mechas?

In Gundam AGE, the AGE System would eventually be used to make the Everse System, which is used to protect Mars from the harmful solar rays. I think it's EXA-DB since AGE System is destroyed along with Diva. The AGE System is fine actually. The EXA-LOG chapter that first featured the Everse System ...

Re: Nomenclature with Weapons on a Ship (UC)

To be fair, the use of the terms "main guns" (主砲) and "secondary guns" (副砲) instead of mega particle cannons as seen in the Salamis (0087) example listed above are in some japanese publications such as the Gundam Perfect File series of books and the Mobile Suit Gundam Ship & ...

Re: Gustav Karl

For that matter, the current design of the Jeda that we have from MOON Gundam is clearly meant to be a common ancestor to all three MS lines (Jegan/Jesta/Gustav Karl) instead of only the Jegan as previous info implies. Just curious, do you have a source for this claim? Most of the information I can...

The Unicorn official site and the HGUC model manual noted that the Gustav Karl is the EFF's new MP MS developed separately from the Jesta. The units in Unicorn and Narrative are early deployment units. The Narrative official site specifically calls the Gustav Karl a next generation MS and also claim...

Re: The Official Gundam Hathaway Mecha Thread Mk I

The Gustav Karl indeed has heavy/thick armor, that is specifically pointed out in the HGUC model kit manual and in the Gundam Narrative's official profile. I also won't say the base weight is barely more, the Gustav Karl is about 36% heavier even though it is only about 8% taller. As for the max wei...

We know that some degree of mental energy/focus is required, thanks to Char's Counterattack. Gyunei and Quess are both visibly upset and confused that Amuro's able to keep his funnels active longer than they can. As per the archived Gundam Official website , Amuro's fin funnels can last longer as t...

...I mean, they had figured the F91 out by 0111, right? ... That certainly did not happen in 0111, heck SNRI only completed F90 in September that same year (as per the Japanese wiki and the timeline on defunct Gundam Official. website). UC0111 is also the same year in which the EFF started the comp...

This change in the English name is also noted in the small blurb about Cross Born Dust in the Japanese wiki. Re: F89 Gundam F89 Notes

Considering the time it was created, should we presume that these parts actually came from the Heaygun? In this case, were SRNI panicked that Anaheim was able to rollout a miniature mass-production MS before them? For the first question, it is worth considering if the Heavygun's parts is compatible...

Although I'm not sure whether the F70 Cannon Gundam was developed before the F-89 since that was the prototype to the mass produced F-71 G-Cannon although the G Cannon was manufactured by Anaheim... So basically the F90 is just a rehash of the F89 with the aim of improving miniaturization and modul...

Well, I was quoting Gundam Encyclopeadia Ver. 1.5 p145 stating the Hexa is a non-combining MS. "非合体のMSで、指揮官機として運用。" I see. Ah well, not the first time a source book says something that is contradicted by other sources. It sounds like the case of the Destiny Impulse Gundams in side materia...
