Re: Member Introduction Thread Mk IV

I guess I have a little explaining to do. Technically, this is Iris Scope's old account but for over a decade, I had forgotten the password and may have broken a rule or two regarding multiple accounts. I deeply apologize for deceiving the populace, don't think I did that intentionally. Anyway, I go...

Whatever floats your boat. At least, he got lucky with the ghost girl and hopefully will be in the hospital for a long time.

Re: What's Your Current Anime? Mk II

Also, i couldn't stand Matagu being one of the creepiest of the creepers. Wanting to do the freaky with his own sister is a deep low, i'm not amused. What it took you all the way to Onegai twins to realize that he was a total creep they pegged him as one pretty much from the get go in Onegai Teache...

Re: Hades Project Zeorymer

Zeorymer has always been "the one that got away" in the sense that i've wanted to see it for so long but i never got the shot. I know Evangelion was inspired by this one along with others and even if the ending sucked, i would've liked to have watched the odyssey to the full.

Audrey aka Mineva has been appearing since the Stone Age of Universal Century Gundam. She's the silent MVP.

Re: Macross Frontier Movies

Until recently, i actually thought the first movie compiled the entire tv show. It wasn't till a few days ago that i found out that it was 50-50 for both movies. As for who wins the love triangle, i'm impartial but i hope it gets resolved since i'm not a big fan of unresolved triangles as Macross 7 ...

Re: Latest movie thread.

I bought on DVD and saw Frozen yesterday. From the director of Hatchet , this one had some fair suspense due to the situation the three leads find themselves in. Though some of the dialogue feels a bit cheesy, as soon as the trouble hits the fan, it gets intensified and playing the blame game as wel...

Re: What's Your Current Anime? Mk II

In two days, i went through every episode of Please Twins . The humor was enjoyable and the fan service was somewhat nice. But the flip side to that coin is that every episode, i had to endure a Miina/Karen bathing session and you can only watch them take baths together for so many times and feel bo...

Re: anyone abroad?

I'm not too picky, but i've always wanted to try out life in the U.K. London has always had my greatest attention in terms of which city i would settle in. Londons always a laugh, its got loads of clubs and good bars, and its really easy to get around. But its expensive, dirty and wont be what you ...

I had the '96 Flipper movie playing on my VHS last night as i tried to catch some Z's. As for today, i watched the last half hour of Casino which was great since i've seen that movie so many times and i love it so it provided a nice little tune in.

I was playing Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix on GameCube yesterday and while i managed to get a little farther that time, i still suck even when playing it by controller. I'm too used to the PlayStation controller that i get confused more times with the Nintendo buttons.

Tell that to Paul Dini, he writes her without the Joker all the time in Streets of Gotham. But Paul Dini ain't writing any of the Nolanverse Batman films, is he? Besides, Nolan is always about making it realistic not just with the costume and the gadgets but also with the characters. B...

Re: anyone abroad?

I'm not really living abroad either. Though i have lived almost all of my life in my native island of Puerto Rico, i do yearn to do the abroad experience. My English has always been better than my Spanish, so i have a feeling that doing it in Spain would be a total disaster. :P I'm not too picky, bu...

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I believe no matter what, Harley Quinn will not be in the third movie nor would it make much sense to have her there to begin with. My reasoning of why is that her character works as long as she's around Joker, when she's near him then she can fill in the looney devoted personality she's know for qu...

Re: When Watching Subtitles

Sometimes, while reading the subs in my mind, i'll be looking particularly at the character's lip motions. It's an interesting way to watch so that when you watch it without the subs and in another language, you can spot if there is a moment where the lip is still moving but the character has stoppe...

I've always had a special place in my heart for Martial Successor Nadesico . It's certainly a relief if you've been watching too many serious series and need a fix that's a little more lighter in overall tone. The show is humorous, the characters are the best misfits to run the ship and pilot the Ae...

Another Ace Combat title on the Portable? No thanks, i'm more of a console guy when it comes to that franchise. Also, why haven't they released a new game on the PS3?! The other main Namco franchises, Ridge Racer and Tekken, have already gotten that honor a long time ago so why are they just ignorin...

Re: New Godzilla Movie for 2012

I've always said it before and i'll say it again here, as long as they can find common ground with the best aspects of the original Japanese G-Man and of course putting forth their own concepts for the new American Godzilla monster, i think it'll be an improvement over GINO.
