Re: α-Azieru (SPOILERS)
Who knows? Don't forget NT has the ability to foresee the future, may be Char has already known Quess is going to john in him. And, if you watched Char's Deleted Affair: Portrait of a Young Comet (yes, I know this manga was made almost 15 years after CCA but its time line is UC0080s ), you can found...

Re: Weight question?
Well, trust me, most of the data from Gundam do not make too much sense. In fact, about 15 years ago, in a chinese Gundam forum, some one has already estimulated (based on PG Wing Gundam zero model) that a full size gundam will be around 200 Ton even if it was made by plastic. Btw, even if it was UC...

Re: Less fiction and more science for Newtypes/Innovators?
That's just the credit for the ORIGINAL creators. Those 2 names show up in every gundam show, even if they have nothing to do with them. Although 矢立肇 is the pen name for the sunrise staff in general. Well, it looks like I misunderstand this for more than 10 years...Because in Chinese, 原作 can also m...

Re: Less fiction and more science for Newtypes/Innovators?
strange...There are a lot of material says that Tomino is one of the writter of Gundam X in Chinese. Even the Chinese wiki, it says "原作 富野由悠季、矢立肇" However, I checked Japanese and English wiki, there's no metion of that. Any way, it is still not important. This one is still a good reevaluat...

Re: Less fiction and more science for Newtypes/Innovators?
That actually makes some sense. Deikun refers to people transcending the limitations imposed by their ENVIRONMENT, rather than necessarily their biology. Then again, he also mentions the awakening of the unused portion of the Human brain, so, it could be interpreted both ways. Either an evolution o...

Re: Chinese knockoff of Evangelion and Gudam?
well, as a Chinese, I should say that those things are very very common....And this thing is true, even it is not, it is still believeble because directly plagiarizing Japanese animations is a very usuall. As far as I know, the Gundam series, Macros, Hikarian has already been plagiarized by some Chi...

Re: Less fiction and more science for Newtypes/Innovators?
Well, if you try to analysis Newtype in scientific way, I should say that you have gone to a wrong direction. No mean to offence, but, please, don't try to do this becasue it really doesn't make any sense and to be frankly, that is the very conclusion that I have had after attmepting the same thing ...

Re: Clay Bazooka?
Ok so I've been wondering about this arnament the Gundam Mark 2 has. What are the clay rounds supposed to do?, disable machines or do some kind of dis-orienting damage to things? I mean if it were standard shrapnel metalic pieces, then I would understand a tad better if want to wreck an enemy unit ...

Re: The Biosensor, and Newtype-Minovsky Interactions
Recently I came across these old threads: http://www.mechatalk.net/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=7894 http://www.mechatalk.net/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=7933&view=next And I was wondering if there was any more information on the biosensor in the Zeta novels? I was particularly curious if it did any of ...

Re: Finally some info on Capule's weapons?
The scene from ZZ in question is from episode 2, where Yazan points a beam saber at Judau while he is in the Zeta. However, cockpit hatch is open, and the beam saber is making contact with the hatch, so it's another case of the blade making contact with an object, and Judau feeling the heat from th...

Re: Finally some info on Capule's weapons?
No.....I'm afraid it is not that simple. Yes, it is true that the critical Minovsky partical that be used by the beam sabre is covered by the I-Field and the I-field does has the ablity to cut off the high heat (that is why it can be used to hold the power of nuclear fusion from damage the reactor)....

Re: GM III are there Two Types???
Well, as it mentioned above, the noramal GMIII(RGM-86R) is an upgraded version of GMII and the nouvel GMIII(the code is still RGM-86R) is a new built ms. As far as I know, the back groud of the development of GMIII is that 1st, by that time, the EF's mobile suit is out of time compare with Axies' (t...

Re: Finally some info on Capule's weapons?
Isn't beam saber alway work underwater? So beam scythe shouldn't has any problem. Yes. Even as far back as Amuro's RX-78-2 albeit at half strength. To be honest, I don't think it is possbile. I'd prefer to consider that all the using of beam weapon under water, including beam rifles, beam sabres, is...

Re: The O's Beam Rifle has the power of a Mega Launcher?
No way! If you talk about the O's bean rifle, I'm very sure that if you compare it with those beam rifles that are used by those hi-end in the same time, its out put is very very sorry. And just because it neither has newtype-use weapon(bit/funnel) nor high out put, it is identified as the "qus...

Re: I need my space!
Or, "The thigh bone's connected to the reactor bone". So recently, I got my hands on the old Entertainment Bibles, and I have to admit I was quite impressed. What really struck me was the "peel-away" schematic for the F91 that showed how everything fit together. Especially the h...

Re: Type 61 tank info
Well the Magella attack tank is supposedly in the 95 ton range. Which kinda disproves of the Type 61 being a 25 ton tank, and the lighter due to gundam technology... Though 25 tons would explain why it's so weak to a Zakus MG... I have heard of this idea before, though considering that in real life...

Re: Type 61 tank info
Yeah, I doubt that. M61A5 tank to me seems to be based loosely on the M1A1 Main Battle Tank, and that's a 67.6-ton tank. And it has only one 120mm smoothbore cannon; the M61A5 has two 155mm cannons. So while we don't have an official weight, I'd guess it to tip the scales at somewhere around sevent...
