Re: The Official Gundam Thunderbolt Mecha Thread Mk I

I'm clearly out of the loop as I hadn't even heard of Thunderbolt before the anime announcement!

Anyone know what the deal with the FA-78 in this is? Is it meant to be a modern/updated version of the old MSV FA-78-1 Full Armor?

Going out in a high note.

Re: The Official Gundam The Origin Anime Thread Mk I

Is the second episode expected to release this year, or this is going to be one-volume-per-year deal like Unicorn became?

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Anime Thread Mk VI

Can someone please explain to me what is the mechanism of Neo Zeong's sudden rupture? After Frontal and Banagher's mind trip to the end of time, Frontal sees that everything is dead and gone anyway and that nothing he does will really matter or affect anything, so he gives up. Banagher, instead, in...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk IV

Considering how few ships were seen in episode 7 -- and I find it hard to believe Frontal would pull any punches for what was his endgame here -- I assumed that there were simply more ships crushed in between Palau's asteroids than originally believed. I can't remember exactly what happened in Char...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk IV

I decided to do a quick count of Argama's Mobile Suit Compliment during this episode, its not really complete for I have may have missed a few or counted a mobile suit twice. Not mention it does not include the mobile suits from the end of the last episode which got disabled by Banshee. 1 x REZEL C...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk IV

Right, there was that random ReGZ and I guess they had room for the Delta Plus too, but the only other suits seen in that hangar then were the Tri-Stars' Jestas.

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk IV

Heh, finally watched the episode in full today, and man, Nahel Argama was rocking WAY more mobile suits than it's ever had before. Guess they got a healthy and convenient resupply before going into the battle. -Rezel that was cut in half but was brought to the Nahel by Unicorn. Pilot was part of a s...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk IV

Yeah, it looked as if the Ra Cailum was actually carrying most, if not all 12, of the Jestas rather than just the three it has in the novel.

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Anime Thread Mk VI

Anyone get a count on the number of mobile suits the Nahel Argama was carrying in this episode? They seemed to have been consistent in the previous six eps, but now suddenly there are tons of Jegans flying around everywhere.

Re: Gundam 0083 Rebellion manga

It might be an interesting thought experiment to recast some of the MSV-R designs with the OVA mecha in mind, kind of like how Harmony of Gundam re-imagined the GM Desert Type as a GM Kai variation and the Aqua GM as a spinoff of the GM Command. Limited-production machines like the GM Sloep and Nig...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Anime Thread Mk VI

Does anybody know the piece of music that plays during Banagher and Riddhe's fight in the episode 7 preview clip? It played in episode 5 too, but I can't find it -- unless it's an unreleased track that'll end up on OST 4.

That's what I had thought too, but thinking on it, the numbers still seem to work out. It's just that the Starks from ep. 3 resemble regular Jegans now, without their shoulder missile payloads anymore.

(The stripped down Proto Stark Jegan Is that the one being attacked by the Jagd Doga's funnels? I guess I always I assumed the Stark Jegans were destroyed at Palau since they weren't seen again in ep. 3 or the hangers in ep. 6, but I suppose they're still alive and well here (just without the extra...

RX-75-1 through 3?

Has there ever been any kind of word on, or look at, the earlier versions of the Guntank? There's an RX-78-1 and an RX-77-1 but I've never heard of an RX-75-1, -2, or 3.

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Anime Thread Mk V

Has there ever been a reason for these delays provided by staff? It just seems a bit excessive, is all. I ultimately won't care, provided it's good, but it just seems out of the blue considering there hasn't seemed to be any difficulties among the staff or with production. On top of the reasons alr...
