I think it has to do with the fact that they wiped out all tech on Earth and the ZOINKS they pull in the novel. and I thought the classifation for a super Robot was a robot with sometimes zany designs that either defies physics,has magic/...

From Dynasty Warriors Gundam are the Mushas super or real robots? they can think and in DWG2 it says the Musha has DG Cells like the Dark and Master Gundam and the Turn X and those are classified as super robots So should the Musha be too?

Just bought a Soul of Chogokin SPEC XS-04 EVANGELION 00(the Rebuild of Evangelion version) from ebay for 43.95 quite a bargain! it's my first SOC figure now to get a Fraulein Revoltech Ayanami Rei figure to complete the set!

My Evangelion unit 1 Extra Finish version arrived today(it's a pre assembled one I got from ebay) and I'm quite pleased with it.
