Re: What's Your Latest Game? Mk III
Trying to finish up Project X Zone 2, but just got both Dragon Quest 7 and Shin Megami Tensei 4: Apocalypse. Those two are massive, I have dived into DQ7 first, after Fire Emblem Fates, I needed something lighter which seems to have not worked out as DQ7 early on is pretty dark in some of the subjec...

Re: Ultra Series in the same boat as Macross
Damn, I question whether the concept of a guy that grows giant to fight monsters would really appeal to Hollywood any way as far as adaptations go, but I see now why the shows have been such a online only thing. A shame legal issues and he said, she said ownership battles lock up another beloved fra...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk
Dub was ok, although it does seem like the voice actor for Mikazuki displayed too much emotion in his voice to me. But we will see.

Re: Topic Submission Thread
Have you watched the newer scifi shows? Personally I think there are a number of really good ones out there such as Showtime's Penny Dreadful, Scifi's The Expanse and The Magicians that I would love to hear your takes on. Especially Penny Dreadful because you seem to be more well read then I am and ...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk
Good to see, hopefully it will catch on. A successful Gundam show works out great for Gundam fans, the wonderful people at Rightstuff and hopefully puts some sense in the folks at Bandai Namco to give the populace more.

Re: Marvel's Agent Carter
Sadly we will only get two seasons for Agent Carter, ending with a cliffhanger for one major character at that. Hope it might be revived as a Netflix show but given Netflix is already juggling shows related to their 'Defenders' project, can't say I am optimistic.

Re: Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn Re: 0096
Really wasn't planning on watching it at all since I own the DVDs... but if it is being streamed on Crunchy roll, I will likely eventually give it a shot just to see how they break down the episodes and hopefully maybe improve that ending.

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk
A time skip will ultimately be determined by what they want to do with the next season. If they want a direct continuation with the same characters and roughly the same set up following the events of the first season it will be only a year to 3 years, mainly to just give time for the new status quo ...

Re: Galaxy Kikotai: Majestic Prince
Glad to hear, although I really would have liked another season, even if it was only 12 episodes. But hey maybe the film will do well enough to get that done.

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk
Nice ending for Season one, honestly if that had been it, I would have been fine with the series staying put there. But the teasers left to help build season two will hopefully lead to another great season. I hated Gaelio at the start of the series but grew to like the poor bastard even as I saw how...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk
Regardless, they're not anyone, now... We will see, technically I can see all of them surviving although now that I think about it the one I want to see survive the most Lafter probably might be the worst off given how they framed that scene. But even Ride who's Mobile worker I think fell off the b...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk
Dang it does indeed look like unlike G-Reco, they did intend to wrap this all up in 25 episodes. Still hope it has and will do well enough to warrant a proper sequel, this series and world setting is to good to be just a one shot series. I am hoping at least Lafter survives... for the shipping with ...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk
I agree, shows have listings for season 1 all the time in DVD/Blu Rays and OSTs but that doesn't mean a second season will actually happen. At this point, one can only hope they announce it at the end of the season since two episodes doesn't seem enough to really wrap this up unless things get blood...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk
And it looks like we're edging ever closer to that point where Orga gives the fateful order that Mika just isn't going to follow. That is the thing, it was hinted and fully on display here that the relationship between the two isn't that one sided, Mika basically bullied Orga almost physically but ...

The flags were all over but I was hoping they would subvert it.

Spoiler
R.I.P. Biscuit, you deserved a happy ending shame this show is now starting to go the opposite direction. There damn well better be another season.

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk
I liked the episode but, unless he miraculously survives I kind of feel like Ein didn't get much growth as he could have. Also, Mars only has 37% of Earth's gravity. I'll suspend my disbelief but Tekkadan should be constantly pooping themselves in what essentially is a 3G environment  I ex...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk
Anyhoo, I cannot wait to see where this journey takes Kudelia from here on out as we have 7-8 episodes or so left. I can't see any way that this gets wrapped up in 8 ... so many loose ends, with new characters introduced today, Nobliss/McMurdo drama, no earth drop, and still haven't seen the Grimge...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk
Honestly, I've heard of Sgt. Frog but didn't know all that but it wouldn't surprise me if that was the case. I hope it is, because that would make it less likely that they would have Shino die if his personal mecha was a homage/shout out to another in house long running series.

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk
Also the beginning of the opening is different as well with the Necklace in Kudelia's hand. Also during the part with Shino talking to a couple other guys the Ryusei-go is in the background instead of the regular Graze Kai. Also. *MINOR* spoilers below - Anticipation of our 3 MS vs. entire garrison...
