Re: Mailbag Drop Box Mk II
Hey guys, I decided to listen to ANN cast's episode on the Fall of Bandai Entertainment. Robert Napton said that Aniplex has found a market for what they do or at least to him that's what he thinks. I wanted to hear the Gundamn's hosts take on this. Do you feel Aniplex is doing well at the moment? ...

Re: Old Timey Drama Hour Submission Thread
(Don't read this line outloud during the show, but you should have Soul Bro cut in the G Gundam music when you do this. ) This hand of mine glows with an awesome power! Its burning grip tells me to defeat you! Take this my love, my anger and all of my sorrow! Shining Finger! GO GO GO!

I was just listening to this episode today and I can't help but wonder what was the song that plays at the end of the Mailbag segment? It was great!

Re: Female Char Clone
I don't mind if they made a female Char clone. It could be done, but I don't see it having a purpose besides just being different. That doesn't mean the idea is bad though.

The bonus item has no official weight? That's odd.

They generally look to match, except for the Zaku III vs. the Gazu-R. The Gazu is shorter and seems lighter than the Zaku III unless the weight on the picture you linked is the base weight.

Re: Because That One Word in the Title Kinda Sounds Like Gun
That video is an edit of the original music video for Gangnam Style. Gundam Style was an edit that added in all of those Gundam heads. It went up sometime in August or September IIRC. It was hilarious and it was the first time I heard that song too.

Do we know anything about the Red Legilis? Anything different at all? I unfortunately can't read Japanese.

Re: What books are you reading?
I finished False Gods and in a way I was disappointed. The characters went out of character towards the end of the book with no real development as to why they wanted to go after one of their own. It was utterly ridiculous.
I'm taking a short break from the series and reading Fall of Damnos now.

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Anime Thread AGE-9
I still marvel that somehow Zeheart has enough in-universe charisma to inspire not one but no fewer than three people to lay down their lives for him without so much as a second thought. I dunno, maybe it's just the audience perspective talking here, but I'm not seeing the burning reason here. What...

Re: What's Your Latest Game? Mk III
I recently beat Assassin's Creed: Revalations. I was way behind on the series for a really long time. Next on the chopping block will be Assassin's Creed III and Halo 4. I hope both games live up to their predecessors.

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Anime Thread AGE-9
I don't think a rewrite of the ending would have saved the show. It would have merely glossed over problems that the show inherited from having 3 generations crammed into 49 episodes. Its pretty obvious that 49 episodes wasn't enough to tell the proper story they wanted to tell in each generation a...

That unfortunately does not sound promising at all. What a shame. I was honestly really expecting more out of this and possibly an expansion to the Macross Frontier and Macross 7 storylines. I guess I was hoping and dreaming too much.

Couldn't sneak that Wangan Midnight MT3 drop by me, that's my favorite game OST of all time! I remember when Soul Bro first played the music on Gundamn! and I freaked out when he replied saying that it was Wangan Midnight: Maximum Tune 3. I played the second one like crazy and the OST for this game...

Re: Bleach is offically ending!
Ichigo will likely have his ass handed to him before Zero Squad shows up, Bach and friends retreat, and then the surviving Shinigami go through some growing pains as Zero Squad inevitably annoys our heroes with their attitudes and practices. We might see some training, too, but I suspect Ichigo and...

Re: Ep. 110 - Kio at the End of an AGE
My thing with Gen 1 was that the writers knew their limitations, and made a great story around it. They couldn't have a large cast to tell a 15 episode story, so the enemy were a complete mystery. The plot was unique and on a small scale that would've been horribly simplistic if it had a longer epi...

Re: Bleach is offically ending!
I just recently caught up with Bleach and I am amazed at what has happened. This is how the Arrancar arc should have been. People are actually being killed off or at the very least only the old man has been killed off so far. He had one of the most creative Bankais in the entire manga. Here's hopin...

Re: Ep. 110 - Kio at the End of an AGE
I just got around to catching up and finishing this episode. I agree on most points that the Gundamn crew made, except for the first generation. The first generation felt really bland to me. The characters were ok and there were a few standouts like Grodek and Flit, but most of the cast throughout ...

Re: Topic Submission Thread Mark II
I hope this idea is used, but why not discuss how the theme of 'understanding' has developed through Gundam throughout the years and how its influenced mecha anime or anime general. You could touch upon how understanding within the franchise has drastically changed (Just look at the difference betw...
