Re: Concept Question for Unicorn/ Post-Unicorn era
Can you blame me for wondering? There is an open time frame to try to put something if they care to between UC and the Formula era. Considering how in that time frame Anaheim is wavering and SNRI is rising there is at least one last opening for it considering the end half of Unicorn. Even though the...

Concept Question for Unicorn/ Post-Unicorn era
Ok, with Unicorn we've seen quite obviously that at this time the EFF is still trying to have a good mass producable TMS in the forms of the ReZEL and Delta Plus. However does this open up the possibility of a transforming variation of the Nu Gundam? If so would it be a cross of the Zeta and the Hi-...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk II
The Starks makes me think of a slimmed down Physalis with a GM head...Hmmmm....should I get a Quel and a Physalis in 1/144 and kitbash them to see how they would compare if they release this MSV later on? I think yes. On another note. Is the Starks Lance anything near what the DODS Lancer of the Dar...

Re: Ship material
Probably Titanium/Ceramic considering how easily the ships seem to be damaged by base mobile suit weaponry for OYW. Probably a lesser form of Gundanium post OYW once they refine it better.

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk II
If I remember what was said right about that its because its adopted some Vagan tech into its systems hence the Vagan scanner/mouth line.DuelGundam2099 wrote:Does anyone else notice that FX has a mouth line?

I thought it meant For X-Rounders. As in only an X-Rounder can pilot this suit.

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk II
I'm hoping to see the AGE-FX carry more of the AGE-2's trans rather than AGE-3's core block system. I always wanted what is essentially a transforming Hi-Nu Gundam! As for the Regulus....if you see an X or Zephrantes from that then you are high on something. Its closer to looking like a Gundam Thron...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk II
I doubt its a GARO reference, I mean seriously Sunrise has nothing to do with GARO. Its like them trying to put Tiger and Bunny into Super Sentai. Not gonna happen. (Although the character designer did design the Akibarangers but thats not the point) Regulus is simply a reference to the star from th...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk II
I disagree, I think it would actually be extremely practical for it to keep the long ranged DODS capability. If you remember right Asemu was a brilliant shot in his youth. Sure he was stronger in close combat situations as a whole but saying that the Dark Hound was crafted solely for Sargasso is a b...

Re: AGE Models
That is a crazy set up for the AGE 2, too bad you can't pull that off with the HG models.

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk II
Well, to help with the number coding issue let me look back to UC for a second, RGM-79 for example on the first GM we can guess a few hints from (if there is a post that can help me on this part please link) Some would say it would mean Renpou Gundam Mass-production however I think in the case being...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk II
I must say I am myself very interested in getting that particular MSV. I usually don't go for purely long range concepts but that one is very well balanced. Do we know when that model is getting a release date? Although this makes me wonder now something about the wear system used in AGE. Considerin...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk II
Yes, 56 years could be a minimum time frame however we have to take into account the time frames of travel between the Vagan main colony to the Earth Sphere (from what we can tell in time skips about 5 to 10 years roughly) then development time for the different suits. (It took Flit nearly 10 years ...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk II
I thought it was 70 years old like Flit mentions in the arc 3 opening. Although thinking that way thats a minimum age... I feel that realistically though Gafrans equate out to nearly a full century of continued use. Astonishing in the world of Gundam. I mean all the first range GM got phased out by ...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk II
Ok, at this point I wonder if when the AGE-2 Pirate pops in if Flit and Kio don't recognize it as using the AGE-2 as the base then damn they are being stupid because it really doesn't look different enough. I am still going to be excited to see how it plays in combat though. On another note, with al...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk II
Ok, let me put it this way, AGE-2 DB's quad saber set up makes sense because of how it was designed. It wouldn't be any risk to the main suit in combat and works as a brilliant counter towards multiple units. With forearm mounts however one mistake on that means you've lopped off your own limbs and ...

Do we EVER see mobile armor class units like the Defruse get produced? And I do not count additive units like the Dendrobrium or the GN ARMS units. I'm talking Big Zam level concepts

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk II
Its what I could gather by taking a closer look and triple checking my translation of the model kit's box. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-KOnR3JCDTr8/T6u0LuVhKmI/AAAAAAACkd0/rlS3pY6ccdo/s1600/32.jpg As you can see the saber is mounted right on the inside of the shield lined up with the port that it came ...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk II
From what I've been able to gather data wise the AGE-3 Normal only sports the two sabers, don't know about the other wears.
