Testors spray Enamel Paint cans are good also

I recomend testors for all painting they have some awesome colors also in my opinon anyway

I've heard of people using soldering iron to melt the plastic in model kits. It was mostly used around impact holes to make it look like the armor swelled up around the hole. I Use a Hobby drill to drill holes in the sheild sometimes to simulate vulcan cannon rounds being fired into it also ,i have used small a hot peice of coat hanger to simumalte beam saber slashes in the armor and sheilds.
