Re: MS Catalog
A couple replies and updates... Bit Mobile Suits: Have any Japanese publications provided armament lists for the GT and GW, or confirmed that both openings in the GX-Bit's chest are vulcans? Febral: I'll put the chest machine cannons in as "unconfirmed". Are the beam sabers just an altern...

Re: Advance of Zeta - Reboot
The part I didn't get was speaking of Inle as a human who opposed participation, and make me think they were using the term Inle for something other than the MA, like a position for some kind of military leader or something. Weirder stuff has been pulled. It being a catchall to refer to the group/pi...

Re: Advance of Zeta - Reboot
Allow me to chime in with some what the bloody frak-ery for the Reboot: - Although aware of Char's assembling of an army, the Inre opposes participating in the war and mainly protects Mars. However, this riot was merely the beginning of a much bigger case involving the Inre that shook the Earth Sph...

As I have always suspected and assumed, the Mudrock's grenade launchers are located in the fo rearms, exactly as the Alex's gatlings are.

This guy uses them a few times. They're quick firing, low damage/explosive last radius.

Re: Question about the Psyco Gundam Mk-II
I'd like to mention in regards to scattering vs focused beams of the Psycos etc, the Quin Mantha does in fact fire both versions of beams. In fact, I believe it changes them on the fly in one scene.

Re: From the Archives: Gundam Wars II
Kinda off topic again. What about the I-Field Generator on the center chest armor of both FAZZ and Full Armor ZZ? Source is MG manual, but is there any info on in it elsewhere? Seems like an afterthought based on the Ex-S one. If this was true it'd certainly help explain those scenes in ZZ anime wh...

Re: Minovsky Particles and Detection Distance
Didn't the League Militaire use Minovsky scattering warheads in V? I could have sworn Gun-EZs fired them off a couple of times from their multilaunchers, but my memory might be rusty.

I can't translate it, but I can tell you that the grenade launcher is the upper barrel on the beam rifle - or supposed to be, anyways.

V's motorcycles, Kou and Ohtu, sure proved themselves pretty effective. More effective than most non-MS in Gundam series, anyways.

Re: EXVS developers have access to a secret lineart stash?
Games can be contradictory. G-Gen games and some other sources, as well as a fan-made opening IIRC, all show the funnel missiles to be stored in the large shoulder panels. Given their size, this makes the most sense to me in general. The sandbarrels are scattered all over. It's all the areas on the ...

Re: The disappearance of E-Packs?
(I'll note that Fed's Jamesgun and Javelin are both listed as using e-caps, as are the Victory Gundam, Gun-EZ, and Gunblaster). I'm not sure if there is any particular reason why some have them and some don't, I suspect there probably isn't, but by that era, it probably doesn't make much of a diffe...

Re: Information regarding Hi-Nu gundam and Nightingale
The Febral's bits show up in the Gundam X manga. There's a flashback with young Jamil fighting Lancerow in their decisive duel, and it uses them there. They're stored in the plume that is its lower body, which opens up wide. The machinecannons are pretty apparent in the design, though it doesn't use...

Re: The disappearance of E-Packs?
I really just began to assume most of them did have them - the F91's rifle's "buttplate" appears to be a potential e-pac, and the beam launcher VERY certainly has an e-pac. The Crossbones utilize a pretty stripped down stylized form of beam gun, and don't ever really make much use of it an...

Re: Victory Gundam
I don't see what the fuss is over the technical merits of beam rotors. A transformation system is a very complex thing to add onto a mobile suit, and of course, the Zolo and others did transform anyways to a faster flight form. But the beam rotor isn't about speed anyways, it's about granting it fli...

Re: Reactor locations?
That's as per the Gundam History 2002 Calendar. Definitely the best Gundam calendar of the century so far, and it has detailed technical explanations and Master Grade-style cutaways of the Gundam Mark III, Zeta II, and Penelope. Cool. Anything interesting on the Penelope(funnel missile launcher loc...

Re: Crossbone Steel 7 MS's translated profiles!
The other two were probably either spares, or they just found more. After all, in a situation that critical being tight-fisted is a bad idea. I guess, but it seems a little strange to me when it's established pretty early in Steel Seven they're down to their last spare parts. They had to dig up the...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk II
Well, the thing is sporting three different forms of lift - M-Craft, thermonuclear hover jets, and water jets - which allow it to move very quickly. So far they haven't shown such movement in the footage we've seen, but it's well documented that the Shamblo is an incredibly agile tank, at the least....
