Re: The Macross Valkyrie Thread
Hi all, I'm very late to Macross fandom, such an amazing series. Just wondering about cockpit position of later variable fighters especially in Macross Frontier. I always thought that the cockpit on battroid mode sits exactly on the chest below the head, but apparently it sits at the back? At least ...

Re: The Official Gundam The Origin Mecha Thread Mk I
First, here's the official profile for the Origin version of FA-78-2 for anyone interested. According to the profile, while FA-78-1 carry add-on armor and weapon to achieve the goal of the 'Full-armor System and Weapon System' project (FSWS project), the FA-78-2 takes a different approach by revamp...

Re: The Official Gundam The Origin Mecha Thread Mk I
Do we have official specs for the FA-78-2 yet? I just watched a review of the FA-78 Origin limited model kit and compared to the RX-78 variants, it is quite short. Except for that kit, every RX-78 variants heights are the same, from the RAG-79-G1 waterproof Gundam, to the RX-78-1 local type/American...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk
So I was looking at new gunpla pics of the Kimaris Trooper. What I first thought were barrels on the lance like the Kimaris original lance had, cause of the angle they seem to be at, I think are thrusters, along with what is another set on the side of lance. Most likely to the effect of quickly pul...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk
Kimaris trooper 4 legged mode is basically just it kneeling down looking at that blurred model kit picture. The knee and shin part forms the front pair legs while the rest of the leg rotates from the knee backward. It would awkward in motion without the magic of animation error, but looks freaking a...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk
The series intrigued my by a whole lot. The show is so grounded my stomach churn with the child killing, senseless killing, and its political drama.... boy does Sunrise can pull a perfect 180 after a kid friendly show, no wonder parents are complaining. One thing I have to complaint about the show i...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk
OMFG. Watching AGE (briefly) and then build fighters (only managed 2 episodes), I lost hope for a Gundam series that is a weapon of war, a symbol of hope, the constant struggle of humanity through adversity. Thank goodness for UC. However, 2 episode in of IBO and I'm sort of okay of the development....

Re: The Official Gundam Reconguista Anime Thread Mk II
So... I just blasted through 7 episode of this show and I love it. Sure the show started out rather weak and I was a bit cautious with the announcement that the show would be "kid friendly", but the 7th episode hooked me to the series. This is not a show for kids, seriously, if my kids wat...

Re: Rezel and anksha
Rule of cool aside, just what makes the Anksha floats? This is afterall Universal Century, where plot armor has names, complete with pseudo physics and explanation. Nitpicking about if Anksha was built from Jegan frame at all. Sure it has bits of ReZel parts (especially the legs) but the upper torso...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk II
Gundam Age-FX For some notable points. -It was state in the pic that its rifle has 3 forms to change. -Its remote weapons were called "Funnel". OT: hope that funnel stand can be used on HG 00Q  Why do I get the feeling that at least one or two Gundams in all AUs from now on will ...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk II
Clearer picture of the Vagan Gundam and the mysterious Gundam. http://gundamguy.blogspot.com/2012/05/new-gundam-age-3rd-generation-gunpla.html The Vagan Gundam is clear as day about its intended use and which side it belongs to. The mysterious Gundam looks mysterious still... It looks like it sports...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk II
Anyone discussed about Shaldoll Custom model number change from regular Shaldoll? The original Shaldoll designation was CMS-B/67, for Shaldoll Custom it's RGE-C350. I don't think the writer just throw around designation with the help of Scrabble, just wondering if it has any meaning. RGE definitely ...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk II
Interesting design. The Vagan Gundam is looking good, uniquely Vagan yet still look like a chop job. Not sure about the blue Gundam, so far the AGE "3" scheme is true, 3 age, 3 heroes, 3 mobile suits and expected to be 3 variants of each Gundams (white Age-2 doesn't count, the possible pir...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk II
We've been over that already Midi, I actually asked about it and its posted a little earlier in this thread. The cockpit is still in the AGE/Asuno crest area and while its in core fighter mode its entry is actually right behind the faux canopy. I assume the answer is Arsarcana post in the page 15 A...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk II
Well, so far I like all AGE-3 arc mobile suits design. The Clanches are wonky but kind of in universe wonky so it got that continuity vibe. The dragon MS is raw and beast like in appearance and fighting style, especially loving it because now it has real psychological warfare going on. The AGE-3 is ...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk II
http://i.imgur.com/AyGDh.jpg The name is just weird, Clanche then Clamche but both looks like same model different variant... Definitely a breakdown in the romaji translation. The MS is quite nice though, the proportion is well done, and comparing to the original Genoace, Clanmche looks very futuri...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk II
I'm the only one thinking that Episode 22 was made to boost the sale of yet to be announce but coming soon AGE-1 variant (AGE flat I think is its name)? It's just you I think. At least for the HG kits, the cover plate for AGE-1 chest is already available to make it to AGE-1F. I was wondering what t...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk I
Presumably the bit behind the head was added over the original design to account for the transforming torso block. It seems like the arm/leg ensemble is called the 'G-Sceptre'. I hope I'm dead wrong, but is that protruding thingie behind the head... Is the core fighter? So instead of transforming, ...
