Re: The Official Gundam AGE Anime Thread AGE-8

Has it been mentioned already that the Vagan might actually ruin earth by adding a second gravitational pull on it? Or maybe they left second moon in a Lagrange point? But anyway, there seems to be an awful lot of disagreement here, and the arguments are starting to miss the point. This isn't an Ame...

Re: Ep. 106 - The Brave and the Butthurt

My pick for Obama's gundam: the Hyaku Shiki. Originally intended for transformation/change, but it didn't quite work out. Still likable, though. I agree with SoulBro about the Trump machine, except I would think he'd give himself a natural hairdo instead of a toupee. As for Romney, I agree about the...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Anime Thread AGE-6

Well, Ribbons was the leader of the Innovators and he piloted the Reborns Gundam which was built on copy data of the 00 Gundam, so Ezelcant piloting a Gundam based on the AGE-3 Orbital ain't exactly groundbreaking news in Gundam. Haman piloted the Qubeley and she was the leader of Neo Zeon, Char, F...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Anime Thread AGE-6

When Ezelcant said "I bet you're wondering where we got the resources and time to build this fookin huge fleet when we're supposedly mostly sick and dying", I was on my toes, but then he just skipped out on the answer. :? Yeah, it was quite disappointing that they took a shortcut to make ...

When are the season 1 DVD's coming out here in the US? I seem to recall reading somewhere on this forum that they were going to be released in this month, after their run on SciFi, but I may have misremembered. I can't wait to buy the DVD's.

Truth be told, I really like it. Sure, I prefer the original, but it has to be Americanized, otherwise, no kids would want to watch it. There is room for improvement, and there are certain things that cannot be fixed (Funimation won't use the word Gundam, would it?). If this was licensed by Bandai, ...

Setsuna doesn't strike me as a leader, and with Neil gone, it seems to me that Tiera would become the team leader. From what I read on Gunota, he is no longer bound to his blind devotion to Veda's orders. Lyle, without knowing anything about him, there can't be much said. Kenji brought up a good poi...

Hmm. I thought he began wearing a mask because the red GN particles caused damage to the point where not his body's regenitive processes, plastic surgery, or a combo there of could heal his facial injuries. It seems I was doing some speculating about Graham's character, thinking that if he could, h...

Ah, I missed the mobile suit on the right when the pan shot begins. I see it now. Thank you for pointing that out. So they've kept the design for the faces. That was a nice touch. I can't wait to get my hands on the model kits. The skirt armor and the hips make the mobile suit look like it's transfo...

I'm in the mindset that, even if Graham could restore his face to what it was before his final battle with Setsuna (assuming his face is scarred and it was a direct result from that battle), I don't think he'd want to. He's very prideful, and he might want to keep his scars that way as a constant re...

Did the ESF's new mobile suit have a right hand, or is the lancer directly connected to the arm? I'm leaning towards the latter, because it seems to be influenced by the Exia's design.

The purple light saber was a special favor for a certain bald actor. I've only seen a raw and read spoilers from this forum, but it looks like I'll have to watch not only the last episode with a closer eye, but the entire season. I do get more than just a small Star Wars vibe from this series, espec...
