Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Anime Thread Mk IV

Cutting from scenes of the Garencieres crew doing everything they could to gain altitude, scenes of the Nahel Argama crew trying to descend, firing the hook shot, Banagher's buddy shouting "COME BACK TO SPACE! BANAGHER!!", then my favorite moment, when Banagher is getting ripped in half b...

!

Park and Paku are the same thing. Romi Park/Paku is a Japanese citizen, but of Korean heritage, and Park is a very common Korean name.
Awesome so we get Loran in 00, as well as Judau anD amuro.

Interesting... the Varanus looks like a GN-X early variant or prototype. Why would anyone build such a thing? The thrones and the varanus look too much like Fafner units! You can tell who designd them easily. thats not a bad thing in my book; I love how much variety we have in Mech designs in 00 We...

Ok so marked differences now are, Fins on the torso now migrated to the head, less round heads (other than kyrios upgrade). A distinct lack of visible GN Condensers and chest cavity, except on 00, and visible GN cables. I believe that maybe the whole frame will be used to conduct GN particles (like ...

I have to say i'm not a big fan of the new machines. They look as if they lack detail and are just stripped down almost mass produced versions of the 3rd gen gundams, save 00. They lack the sleekness and unique quality that seperated Gundam 00 from all the Gundam f91 knockoffs that have been bouncin...

One obscure but very powerful weapon is the turn a's abdominal mega beam cannon. Its right above loran's cockpit and pops out of the silo. Joseph uses it against gym gynganham and it's the only time its used.

This is SEED! They won't even bother making up some technology or new laws of physics like in UC (which are very well thought out) A lot of things go unexplained for example, the levitators on the ships, how the beams work, what the heck Phase shift is? Its not a normal ablative reactive armor its j...

There is something kind of odd that I noticed about Newtype remote weapons, particularly in CCA (maybe because of it's reportedly shoddy translation). It seems to me at least that funnels and such are not only controlled by a human pilot, but they also seem to have some sort of AI function built in...

In Turn A the Godwin, Corin Nander's suit, Armadillo(forgot the moonrace name) all had Central spines i think which made them highly manoveurable. Shame the Turn A was just so awesome.

Because its original that is why. It makes no sense as a boomerang won't work in space unless you have thrusters on it. Remember this is CE where nothing makes sense and truth be told its just one big model kit advertisment spanning 100 episodes.

Newtypes are not characterized by 3d awareness alone, thats just information pollution on the forum from peoples views on Cosmic era newtypes. UC newtypes just have a greater overall awareness and understanding of other humans and can therefore detect hostility and other feelings (rather than actual...

Has anyone ever thought that because Destiny was so badly written that they may not have realised the fallacy in equipping a battery on a Giant MS that shot beams non stop. It isn't mentioned to be nuclear in the MOS, all nuclear suits are mentioned. If it was battery fed it would have run out given...

Kayra Piloted the ReGzin CCA
Marvet and Junka Jenko piloted V1 whilst the shrike team piloted V1 Hexa's in the last few episodes.

For example Loran enters a fake relationship as a servant to Diana-Sama He did? :? I thought they just lived a simple life in the woods together? Turn A's good... despite the lack of action. Although the fight scenes were rare they're quite well done, so much better than Tomino's previous work, V Gundam. I didnt like V Gundam, it was weird, and the animation was horrible. :) Those 2 are my favourite Gundam series. However did anyone find the...

I have a proposed theory about the Geass and the contract between Geass users and Geass givers. I think that geass givers such as CC and VV, wish to die a proper death without being constantly revived because of the pain them being immortal causes them. Living a proper human life experiencing love w...

Turn A is a very different Gundam series, It reminds me a lot of Orguss 2. However i believe its off sufficient enough quality to uphold the name of Gundam in comparison to recent series, which just seem to be adverts for Model Kits (except 00).
