Re: Were all variants of the Guncannon had Core Block System?

Mobile suit core reactors are independent of the core fighter as the project V MS are listed as different reactor types compared to the core fighter. I don't believe it alone had enough power to handle beam weapons especially given its very small size. It wasn't till the GP01's Core Fighter II could...

Re: Were all variants of the Guncannon had Core Block System?

That's not correct, Core Booster added in additional powerplant for the reactor allowing it to use the built in mega particle cannons. Regular core fighter had no beam weapons to begin with, the extra core booster parts came with the extra powerplant and beam cannons.

Re: Were all variants of the Guncannon had Core Block System?

Mudrock is a different topic because that is a Gundam prototype, not a mass production unit. Gm Cannon was produced around the same time as the regular GM, it was one of the earlier GM variants to the base GM. Mass production Guncannon was produced near the end of the war, not too many units were ro...

Re: Were all variants of the Guncannon had Core Block System?

Given that the Guncannon was more armored than regular MS in the 1st place, core block wasn't that much extra weight.

It was too complicated and too expensive hence why it wasn't adopted in most MS in universal century.

Re: Were all variants of the Guncannon had Core Block System?

No, it seems like only the original RX-77-2 Guncannon was the only one to have the core block system. It had a limited production too.

All other variants had it removed to save on costs.

It looks like a commentary documentary that is also a mash-up of various clips from different anime and video games.

I definitely recognize some Gihren's Greed footage here.

I could be wrong here, but Gundam Unicorn OVA 4, one of the Earth Federation Nemo units in the Dakar battle was using the 90 mm GM rifle which was used by various Federation units in 0083...

Re: Evangelion's Netflix Dub

If anything the biggest legit complaint I've heard is the use of Third Children in the translation instead of Third Child... Kind of seems like a robo translation cause of how rough and literal it is. But studio Khara was adamant about the translation and it was their work on the subtitles/localizat...

Re: Is MP F91 still has MCA? (Japanese reader please help)

It makes sense to remove the bio computer because it seems that only newtypes can make the best use of it. And the MCA too, cause it seems way too expensive to put on a limited mass production unit. Also doesn't seem practical maintenance wise too. Overall, these 2 things being removed is not that m...

Re: Is the Mudrock space-worthy?

Mudrock is labeled as a general purpose MS, rather than a specific environment role, so that means it can be used in both Earth and Space settings.

It has the leg thrusters and a bigger backpack to help offset the heavier weight of the armor and weapons.

Re: The Official Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE Thread Mk I

Thankfully 8 and 9 were quite better than the previous 3 eps cause it was slowing down quite a bit and the focus on the 2 useless members of the team in very cliche ways. I was about to drop the show as it seemed to go down the generic route of the previous show but 8 and 9 saved that by having inte...

Re: The Official Macross Delta Anime Thread Mk I

I don't think Harmony Gold has any authority to prevent Macross from being in SRW games, since those are JP made games. I also don't think they can prevent any Macross included SRW game being made in English to come out in Asia either. Delta seems likely to come out in the near future for SRW given ...

Re: How well can the Gyan operate on the ground?

Its a prototype that lost to the Gelgoog. It doesn't seem like there is a problem with the speed and agility given that it actually has pretty good thrust power of 562000 kg. Range is its biggest weakness with its sensor range being less than the Rick Dom and Gelgoog. But higher than the Zaku II and...

Re: How well can the Gyan operate on the ground?

Yeah the Gyan is pretty much never featured in any manga or sidestory outside of M'quve's prototype... Gyan Eos from MSV-R is one of the very few ones.

Re: The Official Macross Delta Anime Thread Mk I

I am curious... do pure blood Zentradi/manufactored/cloned Zentradi have a longer lifespan than humans? Or are they pretty much the exact same? Although given the advance of technology and medicine human life expectancy is longer now too after Space War 1...
