Re: The Official Gundam Hathaway Mecha Thread Mk I

Most MS tend to be around 18 meters tall until the advent of smaller MS in F91 era and beyond where the norm became around 15 meters. A couple of units tend to be pretty large, mostly due to the large firepower they carry. In case of the 2 Gundams in Hathaway's Flash, I believe its a combination of ...

Re: The Official Gundam Hathaway Mecha Thread Mk I

True. I forgot about the actual movie design version of the Xi Gundam. Probably make a appearence in the movie. Although I'm not expecting a Medias res, but the unit being shown, possibly at the end or in a container rather than being used in battle.

Re: The Official Gundam Hathaway Mecha Thread Mk I

Well... the main poster for the 1st movie also gives a indication too.

Even if the Xi Gundam was shown medias res... it could be used on promotion material... its not.

Re: The Official Gundam Hathaway Mecha Thread Mk I

I was surprised to see the Penelope Gundam's beam rifle for the poster. Most of the pics I've seen of the unit do not show it using its rifle. Especially in video games like SRW and G Generation, because it uses its arm beam cannons instead. Xi Gundam is not gonna be in the 1st movie given how the n...

Re: The Official Macross Delta Anime Thread Mk I

I would love to see more of the Lightning III, its easily one of my all time favorite Macross designs.

Sadly its pretty under-represented, even in some video games.

Re: The Macross Valkyrie Thread

The Koenig Monsters are still being used even in Delta, so they still exist in some form as a variable bomber. Although it doesn't seem too likely we'll see new variable bomber in future show, since Koenig Monster anime wise debuted in Macross Frontier (Koenig Monster debuted in the game VF-X 2 back...

Re: How exactly do internal Phase Shift armor work?

Destiny Impulse's frame was no different from regular Impulse's frame. It had some fixed modifications to handle the Destiny Silhouette, which itself was not suitable for the Impulse due to all those weapons. Hence why the Destiny Impulse was shelved and the Destiny Gundam's base body was made from ...

I did, even looked from my phone. All the other profiles are fine, but Barbatos 5th forms and Flauros pics look off, like they've been shrunk.

Re: 02-22-20: Raise Your Flag

Just wanna give a heads up that the Barbatos 5th form along with all the Flauros profile pics seem to be compressed and look off. Flaros pic with Dainslef rounds is not correct as its a colorless equipped version of Railguns and machine guns.

Just wanna point out the Gusion Rebake and Full City mecha profiles should be updated to add in that they used 2 Smoothbore guns.

Re: Did the GM III had anything from the GM Quel?

No, the GM III has no relation to the GM Quel. GM III was based on the GM II but had a upgraded backpack from the Gundam MK II. GM II was a upgraded regular GM. GM Quel was based on the GM Custom and had a few changes like a new arm design. In terms of the movable frames, pretty much all latter Gene...

Re: Were all variants of the Guncannon had Core Block System?

Mobile suit core reactors are independent of the core fighter as the project V MS are listed as different reactor types compared to the core fighter. I don't believe it alone had enough power to handle beam weapons especially given its very small size. It wasn't till the GP01's Core Fighter II could...

Re: Were all variants of the Guncannon had Core Block System?

That's not correct, Core Booster added in additional powerplant for the reactor allowing it to use the built in mega particle cannons. Regular core fighter had no beam weapons to begin with, the extra core booster parts came with the extra powerplant and beam cannons.

Re: Were all variants of the Guncannon had Core Block System?

Mudrock is a different topic because that is a Gundam prototype, not a mass production unit. Gm Cannon was produced around the same time as the regular GM, it was one of the earlier GM variants to the base GM. Mass production Guncannon was produced near the end of the war, not too many units were ro...

Re: Were all variants of the Guncannon had Core Block System?

Given that the Guncannon was more armored than regular MS in the 1st place, core block wasn't that much extra weight.

It was too complicated and too expensive hence why it wasn't adopted in most MS in universal century.

Re: Were all variants of the Guncannon had Core Block System?

No, it seems like only the original RX-77-2 Guncannon was the only one to have the core block system. It had a limited production too.

All other variants had it removed to save on costs.

Re: THE ONE YEAR WARS RE:0079

It looks like a commentary documentary that is also a mash-up of various clips from different anime and video games.

I definitely recognize some Gihren's Greed footage here.
