Gundamguy is also reporting the Dreissen (ZZ Color), unless that's something I'd missed previously -- was there a Unicorn version? (checking... yup, there is, how'd I miss that?)
Also, no surprise is a PG Astray Blue Frame. Only detail on the weapon load is a bazooka.

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XII
I'm having a hard time getting the least bit excited about the Sazabi ver Ka. Sure, it's better than the old one... but compared to the Sinanju, it still looks clunky and awkward.

Re: Replacing Broken Parts - Looking for particular parts!
If you search this forum, you'll see that the outlets to get replacement parts have all dried up.
My best suggestion right now is find someone with a 3D printer -- requires some work to make a 3D model of the part, though, and it will need sanding and filling.

Re: Modeling Tips/Techniques/Help links
I see.... do people spray do this to the entire plate BEFORE they snap the pieces off an start building? You can always scrape a little paint off the pegs -- and if you're doing things "pro" style, you'll often see the pegs snipped off for non-moving parts anyway, in order to better contr...

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XI
I can't say I love that Gerbera Tetra - it's a little bulky in the shoulders, and lacking some of the sleekness. I'm hopeful it's something in the prototype frame or how it's posed, and will look better in the finals. It's not as bad as the GM Cannon II, one of my favorite suits from 0083 and comple...

Re: How long until models are sold via 3-D printer download?
...given how much of a cash cow the models are for bandai, I really think they'd have some kind of security against it. Security is nearly pointless. If you can deliver it digitally, digital rights management doesn't work. Look at DVDs, MP3s, Kindle books, etc. The only people stopped are honest co...

Re: How long until models are sold via 3-D printer download?
I'm surprised I haven't heard of more cases of existing mods/add-ons. Thingiverse only has four items when you search for Gundam , and none of them are really pro items (although I like the CD spindle flight stand). Part of the problem is that current inexpensive 3D printers really suck: maximum res...

Re: MG transformables....any better these days?
The old Zeta Plus was rather delicate. The new Zeta 2.0 seems a lot more sturdy, but there's still problems with transformation: the head does not like retracting and coming out again.

Re: HG Double Ball Joints - Now I see why they never caught
A couple suggestions:
1) Paint on white glue. It's tacky and dries clear
2) Sticky-tack (aka museum putty) can sometimes be used to form a non-permanent joint that is strong enough to keep things from bending, but it does take up some space.

Re: Replacement parts
It used to be that you could email Bandai at bandaiactionkit@bandai.co.jp -- even from the US -- and get replacement parts. Here's a quote from the reply I got back in 2009: > Thank you for purchasing our products and contacting us. > Please find our replacement policies below. > > > 1. We accept fr...

As much as I wanted a Kshatriya, we have to be real here and accept the fact that it is not feasible with the current tech and economic climate. I don't know about economic climate, but tech? Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XI
In my last post I forgot to consider that we might see some 08th MS Team model kits around February, when the BD Memorial Box comes out along with the new short film.... I'm still hoping that we will get some HGUC Zeon kits from that series next year. Hear hear! A Gouf Flight or an MS-06RD-4 would ...

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XI
I agree that SEED is probably played out at this point for attractive MGs: The enemy suits were mostly one-shots, and the ones you mentioned, in my opinion, were particularly ugly and ungainly. That being said, they appear to be popular, so I wouldn't be surprised if they strip-mine it. Wing Grunts?...

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XI
Early reports of the MG Marasai suggests that it doesn't use any ABS plastic, following the footsteps of the MG AGE. This is quite a deal breaker and I think Bandai is really declining. ReZEL Defensor B is looking good, not sure if an MG will be released for 5500yen. Looks like you're right: on Gun...

Shizuoka Hobby Show 2011 New Kits: ... - HGUC GM Cannon II I've been whining about a lack of GM Cannon II for years, and I have to say now that it's finally here, I'm just not feeling the love. Compared to the lineart, the torso seems not bulky enough, the shoulders too high, the skirts and other a...

Re: The Gunpla that will Never Be.
The one kit I've been waiting for pretty much since the beginning of getting serious with the models (past my early just-snap-em phase with Wing) is the GM Cannon II from 0083. The Katoki proportions, the muscle-y physique... it's a sweet kit. But it's a minor character from what's considered a play...

Snapper Review: Furoku Grade 1/48 Unicorn Gundam Stand
Yeah, Furoku Grade? I thought it was pretty goofy too... but it's the bonus with the January 2010 Dengeki Hobby. It's got four clear pink "destroy mode" parts, and 26 white parts, ranging from the huge (the bust) to the tiny (the vulcans), which are smaller than most of the smallest parts ...

MG G-Armor - what fits it?
Is the Gundam 2.0 the only model that will fit inside the G-Armor? I own an RX-78 1.5, and even with teh awesome of the 2.0, I don't feel a big need for it. I know the 1.5 won't fit inside or atop the G-Armor, but will the GM 2.0? Right now the only 2.0-compatible kit I have is the Guntank, and whil...
