Re: F89 Gundam F89 Notes

Yep, the "Full Cloth" spelling is the one usually adopted on gunpla and action fiures, as can be seen on the following instances: - Master Grade kit instructions - Master Grade clear part campaign kit box - High Grade Build Fighters kit box - The Robot Spirits [Side MS] action figure box

Re: Share your Gundam facts!

Basically, the Xeku-Eins was produced on Pezun by the EFF, thanks also to the new data obtained in U.C. 0085 with the training corps stationed in the asteroid (the same people who later will declare themselves "New Desides"). Therefore, all RMS-141 units were most likely completed way before the ver...

Re: Share your Gundam facts!

If I'm not wrong, the composition of the whole New Desides forces is as follows: AMA-100 Z'od-iacok x 1 [from Axis] ORX-013 Gundam Mk-V x 1 [from the Aeno fleet] RMS-141 Xeku-Eins x 20 RMS-142 Xeku-Zwei x 3 Columbus class x 6 [4 from Pezun, 2 from the Aeno fleet] Columbus class (modified) x 2 [from ...

Re: What is this pistol-like gun in Zeon weapons set?

So all the weapons are not depend on the "coolant" tank on the back. What are these coolant tanks for though? Propellant for longe range combat? And no explanation on "Pistol-shaped power tool" Actually, both the backpack coolant tanks and the pistol-shaped tool are known since the publication of t...

Re: Miscellaneous Gundam contributions

MS-11R/MS-11RS (Seems to be the main grunt of the Neo Zeon group in Walpurgis, idk the actual name of the suit) The MS-11R is called Zaku Machinery ; the yellow unit is a customized MS-11RS (i.e. an officer model) for Ernald (please note that in the linked image the pilot is wrongly spelled ERUDORU...

Re: Lewis Halberton or Duane Halberton?

The screenshot posted earlier by Deacon shows that the first letter of the middle name for this character is "C", so perhaps the ultimate solution would be considering "Duane" as a nickname, thus having: Lewis C. "Duane" Halberton (you know, just like Leonard H. "Bones" McCoy)...

Re: The Official Gundam The Origin Anime Thread Mk I

However, that said, I love what has happened during the last two episodes of the series and really want them to go ahead with a complete Origin series covering the rest of the story. Any news on that front? Well, until a pair of months ago or so, the English version of the official The Origin websi...

Interesting info.
It is known whether this is the name of the class or it refers to a specific unit?

Re: Gundam 0083 Rebellion manga

This MS is called Atomic Heavy Armor GM Custom [AHA(アトミック・ヘビー・アーマー) ジム-C] so, yes it's basically an RGM-79N modified in order to launch atomic warheads (please note the two protective shields, extra armor and huge backpack heat dispersion system). From what I can understand it seems an alternative d...

Those previously unseen color schemes of the LM312V04 are as follows:
- Trainer (orange and white)
- Camouflage pattern 1 (grayish blue and white)
- Camouflage pattern 2 (sand brown and sand)
- Rollout (light gray and white)

Re: Dijeh ground only MS?

Yes, as far as can be ascertained the "normal" MSK-008 has always been a ground only mobile suit - after all, Karaba, i.e. the group for whch it was developed, operates only on Earth. Nevertheless, some modified space variants have appeared here and there, starting from the one depicted in the Kazum...

Re: The Official Gundam The Origin Mecha Thread Mk I

Anyone here know the purpose of the bars on the shoulders of the Gundam Ground Type/Local Type?
As seen for instance in the original Blue Destiny manga those bars are very useful for the airborne transport inside Medea and / or Gunperry.

Re: The Official Gundam The Origin Mecha Thread Mk I

As far as I can say, yes, the spacecraft you're refering to are the same model.

On a slightly unrelated note, my previous statement on a possible connection of that "new" Salamis variant with a ship from Ixtab turned out to be wrong (a memory fault!)...

Re: The Official Gundam The Origin Mecha Thread Mk I

Yep, it's clearly a variant of the Salamis, but to my knowledge it's still unnamed. Its color scheme reminds me the MSV-R depiction of the Nelson class , but I'm rather sure that the aspect of the bow with that twin "muzzle thing" is taken from a ship seen at the beginning of the manga Mobile Suit G...

Re: Miscellaneous Gundam contributions

I'm not sure if I hit the motherlode or not, but I found most of these images from a blog that talked about a old board/book game called GUNDAMU GAMES (or GUNDAM GAMES to be exact I think). It features a obscure image I saw called the Jagd Zaku (which is some weird variant of a Zaku Tank) [...] Hop...

Re: [Ship Mystery] - Biscay-class Transport

Interesting suggestion, but if this is the site you're referring to, I'm afraid it mixes info actually published on books (or other reference material, also quite obscure... see for instance teh Garonne ship, directly taken from the Z Gundam gamebooks) with fan-made speculations, and as far as I can...

Admiral Clemmens (Usually Official C) also shows up, but I can't recall if the date of his arrival matches that from CDA... I've just checked, and times seem quite fine: the 0083 scenes in which he's seen are most probably set in November 0083 (at least, tehy're at the beginning of the episode wher...

Re: A bunch of assorted Gundam UC questions

On that note... was that guy with the mustache in Ep 11 the same Captain from Zeta that Scirocco throws around? Yes, albeit on the 0083 materials he's usually referred to as "high officer D" (or msomething like that), this is clearly Ted Ayachi, who in Zeta will command the Alexandria class Hario ....
