I guess what I was trying to say is that psychologically dated animation can hold up longer than dated cultural memes like hairstyles or clothing choice. Meaning a live action movie will date itself quicker than an animated one. Of course there are always exceptions.

Macross Frontier has a few times, not just the sad parts, but there are moments where the use of music has really struck a chord with me (pun not intended). I hated the first ep of that series but it's quickly become one of my all time favorites.

The trick is to destroy the "troop transport" train in an earlier level that Visch pleads with you to let leave. Turns out the train was carrying the big gun for that MA. Makes the fight later MUCH easier.

I agree Zangetsu, it looks like they're definitely gearing up for some new suits in October, or maybe even ... brace yourselves ... OLD ONES! CB doesn't have the time to create a ton of new suits so they upgrade old ones like the O Gundam and some of the ones from the mangas? Definitely a departure ...
