I'm rewatching Martian Successor Nadesico and Eureka Seven volume 1 at the minute, but the latter i'm hating more and more as I watch.

My opinion on this matter is simple, people are thinking what Anno wants them to think. He'll turn this on its' head before it's all over.

I think mine was Gundam Wing if memory serves. I remember when I was little watching it and thinking how cool it must be to get in a giant robot and blow crap up.

I have a theory on the new character though... Mana Kirishima. It would make sense as it would be new to this storyline and it's a character that should be used at this point.

Either way take it from the lips of a fanboy, this movie will rock. The trailer looks slick, when it's dubbed it will be amazing, in short, rock on. My only issue is with the voice actors, I want the same ones as the series.

Well Gundam has never been totally original, it borrowed alot of aspects from Macross. Truthfully though, I don't think they'd want to be a rip off of a crap movie like that...
